Daniel Morgan from Harwich and Dover Court branch showed us around the property we enquired about and couldn’t have gone any better. Daniel was very patient and professional and was at hand if we needed anything. He allowed us to freely walk around the property at our own pace as well as told me about some of the things we could do while living in the location. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. this company are self deluding idiots, I reported a fault on the rented property that should be a high priority to get in fix in accordance with the law but four four months it was ignord, then when some one finanly showed up he tried to like about the highgen (I have time stampted photos of the area that poove he was lieing) the the "repair man they insit on sending is a foul mouths arogant and disrispectful idiot who donse extremly slopy work and when he was told to stop swearing at me and talking to me like I'm dog dirt he esculated his aggression towards me complaining to this company about his atrocious the tried to say that I was being rude and abusive yet another lie from this delusian factory, they refuse to recognise that a customer complain about bad and unethical buisness practises is not customers being rude or abusive its totaly legitimate to complaint when they leave a room raining in for SEVEN months! telling them the laws they are breaching is not being rude or abusive it is stating the facts of what the laws says, it is mind boggling that this company is not under criminal investigation for its misconduct

Terrible level of service

We listed our house for sale and we're trapped into a 20 week lock in period. No contact from the agent, only 2 viewings in 3 months. No service whatsoever and then when we try to extricate ourselves their so called termination letter says they would still be entitled to their fee. Shocking service would avoid completely in the future.

If I could give less than one star for…

If I could give less than one star for the penistone branch, I would. We rearranged to view a property. The lady we spoke to in the office was most unhelpful very annoyed because we gave her a few dates for our visit and it was almost as if we were putting her out because she had to contact the vendor to arrange it! when we finally arranged the visit the vendor never turned up so we were stood waiting for an hour. We’ve never once been contacted by the estate agency since to find out how the visit went , so presumably they’re not interested in whether the vendor wants to sell their house or not .Maybe the staff for the Penistone branch could do with a little bit more customer service training, we would never use this estate agent again.

Cheated out of £5000. Disgrace.

We have just bought a property from them. We agreed to pay full asking price, cash, immediately, as long as it was a direct sale and did not go through the auction process. On completion, we were charged over £5000 for an Auction and Auctioneers fees which did not happen. I have to take legal action.

Sam showed us around some houses, was very helpful gave us a lot of time to walk around and ask questions. David is an incredible character, very welcoming and incredibly helpful. Nick helped us with a mortgage too. Would definitely use these again, and would recommend to anyone! Updated this review because of how incredible William H Brown have been. We would have lost the property if it wasn't for the hard work from David and Nick chasing up my solicitors because they were being very slow.

Appalling service after signing contract, send people that aren't even on the market to view.. never return calls, castleford staff are arrogant, and lie through their back teeth.. would never use William H Brown again and advise anyone not to use them and go with anyone but them. When we first viewed our new home, we were met by Daniel Bennett of the Harwich branch. He welcomed us into the home, explained about the social distancing measures for covid and proceeded to show us around the home. Daniel took pride in his job as well as the house we were viewing. We spoke to him continuously throughout the view and answered all the questions we had with ease. We decided we wanted the house that night so left Daniel a voicemail out of hours. The following morning, Daniel promptly contacted us and gave us further details; since then he has been a non stop help, answering all queries and contacting the landlord when we requested or if he didn't know an answer. Nothing has seemed a hassle and he has been helpful throughout! Even helping my partner move in a table!! Couldn't fault the service with William H Brown, thanks to Daniel!
