GoogleBooked a valuation at 6pm on 06th October with Kamal at 6.10pm called his office and he said he was caught up with a client and running late and asked if he should come now or not. Says it all really......If the agent can't make the appointment. In this day and age is is quite astonishing surprised Winkworth has such high reviews....maybe it's just Kamal?

Dear Dinesh, we had the valuation booked for 6pm on 7th November and we spoke at 6.10pm to say I was delayed in the office with another client when I gave you the option to either come and see you immediately or to call you tomorrow to re-arrange another appointment. I did try and call the following morning but your phone was unavailable so I sent you an email. We do endeavour to keep our appointment times as punctual as possible however, sometimes delays do occur as in your instance and I do apologise for that. Please contact my office on 020 8861 3933 to re-arrange another suitable time.

GoogleBought a house from Winkworth in April and it was a tiresome experience. The estate agent on the days I viewed was barely interested and you could tell didn't want to be there (luckily the property sold itself). Once my offer was accepted the updates from Winkworth were reactive, and few and far between. I had to chase to find out what was happening from the sellers side and when I was told they would get back to me, it was typically never done or came days later than they said they would. My emails went days and weeks without a response. A simple holding email would have sufficed. Following the sale I've chased countless times for a missing gate key but up until now I have not received a response (two months later). The "For Sale" sign at the front of the house was changed to "under offer" during the process and then changed to "sold" after I completed. Surely it should have been collected at that time!?! No one has been in contact about the sign regarding collection and as I mentioned earlier, I'm still waiting for a response to my email regarding the gate key. Estate agents typically have a bad reputation and maybe unfair at times but this organisation did nothing to change that narrative. Update 06.11.21 - Someone approached me whilst outside my house asking if it is for sale. Curious as to why someone would ask this, I checked the Winkworth website and the house is listed as sold (screenshot attached). Why it is still on there when it was sold in April 2021 and we're now in November 2021 is beyond me. Another display of their service.

GoogleVery good experience. Vithu, the agent I viewed a sheltered housing property with, was very professional, understanding, kind and helpful. I didn't feel I was being pushed to buy the property and he was very understanding with regard to me wanting to be able to take my cat with me when I found somewhere.

GoogleTerrible responsibility. I was looking for a flat to rent and one of the agent V showed me the flat quickly. However, after asking him to proceed renting, he said "I am just waiting for the landlord to confirm your offer." Okay. He should. But since then, never replied my email, never answer my call. Guys, please don't waste your time to wait for him.
