Ross and team were patient, supportive and professional. I bought my house from David Conway 20 years ago when they started being estate agents......Now. .They have been very helpful. From their two visits to my home I followed their suggestion to cost effectively turn my 3 bed into a 4 double bedroom house. I also have followed the suggestions on the decoration and put in a new kitchen. They have put me in touch with good builders. The letting process has been explained clearly so that I understand it and how their service work. They have answered my numerous calls. My house is now worth so much more. I am sure they will be able to rent it out to a fantastic tenant. In & around the area, there are numerous estate agents to choose from, but choosing David Conway and Co is unequivocally the way to go. From the beginning, they brilliantly appraised the market, refraining from giving false promises - a practice I unfortunately encountered elsewhere, with agents inflating the appraisal value just to secure my sale. Ross approached the valuation with a level of honesty and expertise that was both refreshing and reassuring. Ross, Mitch and Daniel marketed our home exceptionally well, highlighting its best features and portraying it in a manner that truly represented its worth. The in-depth understanding, they have of the market, coupled with a strategic approach to selling, reassured me that I had chosen the right team to represent my interests. What really set them apart, however, was their relentless support throughout the entire process. Their commitment to transparency meant that I was never left wondering what was happening, Ross always keeping me informed with timely updates and fostering a relationship built on trust and reliability. At times when the process started to slow down Ross was always at the other end of the line, advocating tirelessly on my behalf to ensure a smooth progression at every stage. Ross was a calming presence, offering reassurance during the typical hurdles that tend to drag out the process, always ready to allay my concerns when I became a bit neurotic due to the slower pace of the solicitors. My experience with David Conway has been extremely stressful and disappointing. From the outset, I felt under significant pressure from numerous calls and emails to sign a reservation contract, despite having already paid the reservation fee. I felt placed in a difficult position when I was told that the property would be put back on the market if I did not act immediately, even though my solicitors had raised legitimate concerns about it at the time. During the purchase process, I continued to feel pressured while exercising my rights during the enquiry stages to raise concerns. Even when responses from the other parties were unsatisfactory or delayed, I felt further pressured and intimidated when I was told again that the property would be re-listed. On one occasion, I spoke to one of their agents after exchange and completion dates had been confirmed, and I found their manner rude and unprofessional. I expressed in my communications that I was feeling stressed and anxious, yet I did not notice any change in their approach. Instead, the pressure appeared to continue in a way that heightened my anxiety during what should have been an exciting life milestone. Overall, my dealings with this estate agency left me feeling that their approach was heavy-handed and inconsiderate, resulting in a deeply negative experience. This process caused me significant stress and anxiety, which I find unacceptable.

Another estate agent.Won't be buying via them again, bought a property and their agent kept phoning my solictor. My solicitor then charged me his time. The person from their office who kept phoning my solictor would not stop phoning him even when l told him to stop. Also the rental charges for managing a property are very high. I found someone else who is far more reasonable and actually does minor works without charging me.

Very poor company to deal with

Very poor company to deal with. They don't respect the contracts they agree to with you and if they make an error expect you to foot the bill for it. Once it was clear they would have to pay for their own error, they unprofessionally went on to attempt to smear us online. Would not recommend them as someone to do business with. What a terrible reply. Nowhere did I state that I had purchased anything from your company. My review is a legitimate experience of dealing with your business. Your business wanted to breach our contract, expected us to pay the price of your error and then attempted to smear our business online with false statements about being scammers because we were not able to assist you in breaching the contract. So would I stand by comments of you being a very poor company to deal with? Absolutely. I think we can see from the tone of your responses how you deal with people when you are unable to get your own way, so would be indicative of anyone else wishing to do business with you.
