What sets them apart from other estate agencies I’ve come across over the years is that they genuinely help you find a property that’s right for you and your family. Unlike many local agencies that just book you in for countless viewings and leave you disappointed at the pre-application stage, the team here take the time to understand your situation and actually help you secure a suitable home. Emma was an incredible advocate on our behalf, she went above and beyond to help us secure a property. She often stayed behind late at the office many evenings and even supported us over the weekend, which is truly above and beyond. Elke was also fantastic, she was very quick to respond to our queries and concerns, and made sure the paperwork was handled efficiently and smoothly. Both Emma and Elke have been absolutely amazing throughout the whole process. After looking for a home for more than two months, their support, communication, and genuine care made all the difference. The team gave me a real sense of family with how dedicated and extensive they were in finding us a home. They were quick to respond, understanding of our circumstances, and made everything as stress-free as possible. Emma was great when we picked up the keys - she is clearly very knowledgeable and well connected in the Harrogate area. Elke even dropped round my driving license when I left it in the office 🥹 Would definitely recommend working with WHB Harrogate to find your next rental property.

GoogleWill and Emma have been so helpful and professional in getting me a lovely rental secured. The viewing was arranged quickly, and Emma helped me to secure it almost immediately. Will has been on the other end of the phone or email, so I’ve felt looked after and supported throughout the process of moving, with unusual things cropping up here and there. They’ve gone above and beyond, and William H Brown even gifted me a little welcome pack with tea, goodies and some cleaning essentials. Great service, great people. Highly recommend!

GoogleGenuinely a fantastic experience. They went above and beyond in helping me get settled in a new flat where other companies would and have given up. They also left me with a gift box as a congratulations for moving in which added a uniquely human and compassionate touch where other agencies wouldnt bother. Emma was absolutely brilliant, and did such a lovely job involving herself in things. She was proactive about contacting the land lord on my behalf, and went out of her way to make sure things would work out well. I couldnt have had a better experience.

GoogleWhen buying the house 5 years ago. We had problems with the solicitors they recommended. They said it would make the process easier as they would talk to each other without our input. They did not talk to each other and we had to do they run around 1 day before completion. We also purchased the house lifetime mortgage advisor service they offered. This year when changing providers came up, we were told to pay £99 admin fee for the mortgage brokering fee even though we had paid £499 for the lifetime broker offer. And again, there were miscommunication between broker and solicitor as the lump sum we were using on down payment was not told to the solicitor it was a gift. Meaning we were charged extra to overpay our existing mortgage provider the lump sum so we didn’t miss the completion date. I would strongly advise going elsewhere for mortgage deals and solicitors as we had very bad experiences with both.

GoogleMy son bought his first flat, advertised through William H Brown recently. The buying process was explained to him and he chose to use the recommended conveyancing service. The communication from the conveyancer was terrible with emails going unanswered which is less than ideal for a first time buyer, finding the process stressful enough. The situation was saved by Clare at William H Brown. She deserves five stars for acting as a conduit between my son and the conveyancer, reassuring him that everything was on track and forcing the pace at the end of the process, even when she was supposed to be on holiday. Buying a property is always a nightmare but Clare kept us updated and involved her management when required to get the purchase completed on time.

GoogleWe recently used w h brown Harrogate to sell a relatives property and I have to say that the service was very good in general. We had been on the market with 2 other agents in Harrogate prior to browns dealing with the sale and had not had a great experience with either agent! So I was very specific in the service I wanted when instructing browns…. initially I dealt with the previous manager who was excellent but left the company prior to us agreeing a sale ….the new manager however Claire introduced herself and then handled the property negotiations at offer stage and chased the sale up, we completed approximately 9 weeks after agreeing the sale, she provided an excellent service.I was a manager of an estate agents for 25 years so know what makes a good agent and I can honestly recommend W H Brown Harrogate if you are looking to sell in the Harrogate area.
