I had my first viewing with Linley & Simpson, met with agent Mark First of all I really appreciated Mark’s call earlier in the morning of the viewing letting me know he was free earlier and that if I wanted to view it earlier, which actually really worked out for me that day, that was kind of him to let me know as it really benefited me too Met with agent Mark, I was with my daughter Mark was very welcome, right away made us feel like we are connecting with a person as a lot of time human these days can feel like we are interacting with robots and reading out text books rather than showing care He was very pleasant, professional and most of all honest which really make me take to a person We had plenty of time to look around and got all the informations After the viewings I really appreciated Mark’s next move We spoke and I told him the urgent need for a property He actually rang his office and got an agent to run through every property on the market for rent to see which would be suitable My daughter and I looked at each other and I thought how amazing To see Mark going one step further and was doing his best This is second time I have put reviews for Linley & Simpson since I have registered for a rental property Excellent service, I find that I am always dealing with nice people, and caring and You do feel that they care as these days not a lot of people give a damn And unfortunately make this society a very lonely place and people feel down and anxious when they feel every that corner they turn to, they meet with unsocial behaviours from people and an unwillingness to help Thank you 🙏. Mark for making us feel welcome and that we matter as people It totally change the way you think and suddenly you feel positive and an immense feeling of hope Knowing someone have cared and are doing their best Thank you once again Laila

Mark C was recommended to me by a friend, as the best lettings professional associated with Linley & Simpson, in the Harrogate area. Although I already rent property in Harrogate, I make it my business to keep my eye on the market and have discussed alternative property with Mark in the event that I would need to downsize. I am not one for writing reviews, but I believe the service my mother and I received from the team at Linley and Simpson (L&S) was nothing less than outstanding. For context, I currently rent a property in Harrogate through L&S, and my mother is looking to buy a property. Mark C (Lets) and John (Sales) in particular are brilliant, but it is also worth mentioning the whole L&S team at the Harrogate branch who embody the highest level of customer service and a solid value based & customer-focused ethos. When I met Mark C at my first viewing, I could not have wished to be greeted by a more professional, knowledgeable, honest and engaging individual. He made the whole process of searching for and renting a property a breeze. I could not be more grateful to him for his assistance and support. As for John. My mother spoke to John on the phone from London recently; she is looking to relocate to Harrogate. Not knowing the area well, John took the time to guide my mother through the different areas of Harrogate and gave her a truck load of sound advice. So appreciative of his efforts, my mother mentioned the conversation to me during a recent call noting how willing he was to assist and honest with his advice. She was not as complimentary about some other agents in Harrogate, unfortunately. To the whole team at L&S, Thank you!

Whilst looking for a rental property in Harrogate, the staff at Linely and Simpson were superb. Professional, efficient, and highly responsive at all times and patient when answering my sometimes obvious questions. Unprofessional and rude. Wouldn't recommend to anybody. Carpets not fitted properly, cracked tiles all over the kitchen floor, terrible damp within the bathroom and every room containing mould. After raising this with the Harrogate branch I was told "You get what you pay for". After paying 12 months in advance, this is NOT what we paid for. A compromise was eventually met, but not without a struggle, poor communication from company on a whole, poor people skills from senior members of staff. An elderly lady (grand mother) asking whom the electric supplier is for our property was met with the response "The national grid, do you think we'd leave it without electric?" is not acceptable. I was not impressed when I heard that and wont be using them ever again. There is no need to be rude to people, no matter how important you think you are. Overall it has been a terribly stressful experience, with no recompense for it. 0/5 stars.

She was extremely knowledgeable and she not only arranged suitable viewings but also assisted me with documentation afterwards!
