I’m a contractor for Anthony Pepe and have been working on their properties for about 5 years now. Joanne, Theodora, Katie and the rest of the team always want the properties to be kept to a high standard and with are always quick to get issues sorted out when they appear. Poor communication and incompetent. Had to chase for responses and then usually the information provided was incorrect. Massive admin fees for no service. In response to the company reply below, there were no discrepancies between the figures provided and documentation to support referencing - I request you remove this potentially libelous statement immediately. We did not pay the company anything - this doesn't mean that the fees that they intended to charge are not over the top. Whilst we asked innumerable times for clear information about what was required for referencing we were never given the correct information, e.g. we were never told that the landlord could chose to reject an application, or that a guarantor may not be accepted until WE chased the agent to confirm a date that we'd be able to sign paperwork and move in. In cases like this any admin fee would make you sore, but when its several hundred pounds for you to do their job it seems pretty rich. Its a shame that this company are more concerned about replying to online reviews than replying to potential customers.
In reply to the above review by Miss McGee, I have spoken to the all staff involved and have investigated fully. I understand the applicants were frustrated that we were not able to secure the rental property for them, but the landlord ultimately rejected their application because of discrepancies in the information provided by the applicants and the references presented to both us and the landlord. This was explained fully to the applicants and they were given the opportunity to provide further paperwork for the landlord, which they were not able to provide. Ultimately the landlord made the decision to reject their application and we must abide by this decision. I would also like to point out that the applicants paid absolutely no money to Anthony Pepe throughout this whole process.

Anthony Pepe were our buyers agent, but without Ari’s hard work in pulling a very difficult and long chain together, plus doing all the liaison between all the various agents, and at a very difficult time while the world was in lockdown, we would never have reached completion. Thanks Ari, your hard work and professionalism is very much appreciated.

GoogleThe agency has improved a lot in the last year. We felt quite neglected when we first started renting a property through Anthony Pepe, but in the last year, particulary my experience with Stephanie Stavrou, it has been a great. Stephanie is very helpful, organised, quick to get back and always switched on with what's going on in the property.

GoogleMina was incredibly helpful. Helping us to navigate as first time buyers and also helping us to resolve issues with a pet clause. He also made time to chat to us frequently and sort viewings when we needed them. Also just generally a nice person, which always helps!

Very pleased with the agency overall and its staff, Lauren in particular, as she was the first point of contact. Professional attitude, prompt responses to queries and all questions answered. Any ad hoc requests were also accommodated and dealt with very quickly. Their advice was spot on. Compared to the estate agent I used to purchase a property they were leagues ahead. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them. Never thought I would say that about an estate agent.

GoogleAnthony Pepe and in particular Paolo Lusardi our agent was most helpful when it came to purchasing our first property in Highbury. They kept on top of exchanges between the seller and our solicitors to ensure the processes was moving, and were very knowledgeable about the local area and the property itself. I used Anthony Pepe to sell two half houses, one after the other - the first sale was particularly long and stressful, but Ben was always kind and calm, even when I was hysterical! Thomas did a great job selling the second house. They have reasonable fees and a great website and service and are far from the stereotypical 'oily' estate agents!

Very unprofessional agency, NOT RECOMMENDED!!. I wanted to rent a flat and assured it was for us after paying a holding deposit (usually asked while checking references) just to find out the following day there there were other people interested. Due to this we were not able to put the right offer and we did not get the flat. Not only that paperwork was missing, information hide and they were unable to give an explanation of what happened.
As an award winning agent we always endavour to act in a responsible and professional way. Unfortunately on this occasion the Landlord chose another tenant and the Holding Fee was returned the very next day. We are sorry you feel aggrieved and if you would like to discuss this further please do not hesitate to speak to us directly. Charlie Perdios , Director.
