From the very first day I met Ashley…

From the very first day I met Ashley Harwood from the Cirencester branch of Stutt & Parker I found that I could communicate with him, which in today’s world is not something to take for granted, he was the agent that was the closest in valuation to what the cottage archived, the price was not inflated, just realistic. Throughout the sale his support team did everything they needed to do to keep me up to date with any progress and fed back from the potential buyers, if I had another home to sell I would definitely take to Ashley and his team at Strutt & Parker.

Edward Thomson of Strutt and Parker is the real deal in a tank full of sharks in the London real estate market. His advice when I bought a short-lease apartment in Cadogan Place was invaluable. I have since gone on to refurbish the property and extended the lease to create some real value. I’d trust Ed, whether on the buy or sell side. Absolutely the worst estate agents on the planet!!! Don’t believe what they say about their large international database being part of PNB Paribas, ……..we had many more viewings with a local village estate agent (Ashtons), who we eventually switched to as well as a lower commission rate, better photos, better floor plan…… and just nicer and more honourable to do business with. Ashtons sold our property for our asking price and the follow up to eventual exchange was excellent. If I could summarise our experience with Strutt & Parker Harpenden and St Albans and their senior management…… woeful! Never again, just trust your instincts and go with a good local agent that knows your local market, better by far!!
