Inaccurate Sustainability Policy - Shockingly bad companyVistry/Linden/ Counrtyside/Bovis whoever you are - If it were possible to give you zero stars I would.Your Sustainability Policy states:We will place people and communities at the heartof our decision-making process and build sustainablecommunities that last and flourish. To ensure thateveryone’s needs remain central, we follow theVistry “Building Communities” approach, frommaster-planning and design, through to buildingand aftercare, working closely with communities andstakeholders throughout the development journey.To achieve this, we will carry out placemaking focused engagement with local communities and localcouncils and develop an approach to post occupancyevaluation to ensure a cycle of continual learningTo safeguard nature, we will work towards ensuringbiodiversity action plans are in place on all projectsand maintain relationships with Conservationorganisations..Focused engagement with local communities - what a joke. We, the residents of Glen Parva has asked for your attention to our concerns over the last few months whilst you construct a site of 165 homes on a previous landfill site. We have repeatedly asked for analysis of the dust that coats our homes, our cars and our children's lungs ! we want to know what is in it because we know what is in the ground below your site and what is being released into the air because of the work you are currently undertaking. Why won't you meet with us to discuss these concerns - where is your promised 'focused engagement with local communities' ? What an absolute shower of reckless constructors you are; and judging by the reviews on here, there won't be any aftercare for the poor souls that buy these properties, once ready for sale...Absolutely shocking - DO NOT BUY THEM

Appalling service, worst ever experience with a house builder

Countryside Homes have treated me appallingly from the start. We reserved a new build plot with them, then about a month later, despite our reservation, they put the plot in a buying scheme, which meant we could no longer buy it. We chose another plot and, 3 months later, without any kind of discussion or notification with/to me, they sold it to someone else. Again. So, twice in a row, we reserved a plot with them and they just sold it from under us. Over three months, I made multiple attempts to contact Countryside, to discuss our arrangements. They wanted me to reduce the price of our house, which I said I was open to, but then they continued to ignore me and not return calls or answer emails, so we had zero contact or discussion. I called their offices and was told they’d get back to me, but they didn’t. I sent emails and they were all ignored, from the local sales rep right up to their head of sales. They used an intermediary, ‘Move with Us’, and while they were more responsive to me, they never managed to persuade Countryside Homes to actually contact me.In short, Countryside Homes are extremely unprofessional and you cannot trust anything they say, in my experience. My advice would be to have nothing to do with them, there are a lot of their competitors who will treat you with some respect.

We aim to deliver both high-quality homes and a positive customer experience, so it is disappointing to read that your expectations were not met in several areas, including the condition of the property upon move-in, the garden works, and the handling of subsequent concerns. We understand how important it is that agreed works, such as cleaning, landscaping, and installation services, are completed prior to a customer moving in, and we regret that this appears not to have been the case. We also take concerns regarding mould and safety within the property very seriously, and we are sorry that you felt your concerns were not handled appropriately or with the level of support you needed at the time. We appreciate you bringing these matters to our attention, including the issue in the garden that resulted in an accident, and we apologise that you had to pursue this more than once before it was resolved.
