My house mate and I had the pleasure of working with Hamad during what was initially a very stressful time for us. After a big disappointment with a property, we were really upset and had mistakenly thought the situation was due to him. However, we soon realised there was nothing he could have done, and from that point on, Hamad went above and beyond to help us. He genuinely took an interest in our situation and made it his priority to find us a home that worked for our needs and limited budget. Hamad was honest, proactive, and incredibly kind throughout, showing us every suitable property, encouraging us to make offers we could afford, and always trying to help make things work. What really stood out was his dedication, even taking time out of his own evening to show us a new property that had only just come on the market after office hours. You could tell he genuinely cared about helping us, not just about making a sale. Although we eventually found a property through a different agent, Hamad still checked in, wished us well, and showed true professionalism and kindness right until the end. A letting agent that simplifies your life

I use Foxtons to let out my flat. Overall, the process was easy. They came, looked at the flat in person, provided an evaluation and explained the process through. I took the offer where they deal with everything. While this came at a rather hefty commission, i really did not need to do anything. Foxtons helped me sort out all the requests the tenants have and kept me updated with the repairs (also asked for my permission too before placing any purchase orders). Special kudos to Tony Chan, my property manager. He helped me a lot with sorting out all the relevant paperwork to let out a flat. He is very responsive as well. Any queries I have, i can be confident that he will answer it. As a landlord letting through Foxtons, i have no worries, though the commission is a little bit higher.

I was spoken to quite rudely on the phone with agents pushing for an earlier viewing or just scheduling a viewing without asking for availabilities. I have told agents multiple times to stop calling me but this was not heard. I even removed my information from the portal and noted that I am no longer looking for a property. I still receive 3-4 calls a day whilst informing them that I do not want to rent through them.

Foxtons Letting Commission…

Just to share my experience and warn anybody thinking of using Foxtons letting services. Foxtons will be vey happy to take full year commission in advance but if your tenant moves out before the full year period, Foxtons will not refund your commission in cash but just leave the amount as a credit in your account even you no longer have the intention to rent out your property. Area director of Foxtons claimed that this is in line with Foxtons terms of business. Beware before you choose Foxtons letting services.
