Aaron, James and the Deveports team did a tremendous job in selling our house in Hampton. We talked to other more established local agents at the time we appointed them. From the outset, we were impressed by their approach, energy and professionalism, treating our sale as something special. Their knowledge of the local market was impressive. They showed a hunger to do a great job for us and that, alongside the competitive commission rate that they offered, was the clinching factor, even though both the other agents to whom we spoke tried to instil in us a sense of risk in choosing Devenports. From that point on, everything moved swiftly and smoothly: the photos and plans, the advertising copy (which we appreciated being able to comment on) and the pre-launch day, which led directly to an offer in the range that they predicted, just a few days later. Because of the complexity of the chain, their work didn’t stop there, they chased solicitors and other buyers and sellers to speed them up and finally get us to exchange. Moreover, they kept us informed throughout, which we have really appreciated. The growth of their business in the last year or so has been remarkable, but now that we have seen them in action, we can readily understand how they have achieved this. Evidently, they are already Hampton’s biggest estate agency in terms of the number of commissions and sales. It would not surprise me at all if, in another year’s time, they are Hampton’s only estate agency because I can see no reason at all why anyone selling or buying a house would look elsewhere.

We chose Devenports because they were recommended by a friend who was selling with them We liked Aaron and his confident, open and ‘non salesy’ approach. We liked that Aaron came well prepared including with emails from already interested buyers who they’d had initial speculative conversations with reference our property and road. They also offered a really competitive rate We were impressed with the photos of the house. They also did a mail-shot round the area They immediately brought buyers round within a few days and we had an offer with a few days. We went on to hold a 1 -day open day and had 4 offers from there of which we accepted one. All very quick and efficient The selling process had its usual ups and down but on the whole all the guys at Devenports were always available to us, up to speed with what was going on and seeking to push the process through. Our only niggle was that a one point in the process it became a little ‘he said, she said’ between all the agents and solicitors which is likely often the case but we just asked Devenports to be as open as they could be to avoid this which they proactively took on We would use Devenports again in the future and would recommend them to others. Thanks for all your help in the process and am sure the company will go from strength to strength

Devenports are cheerful, friendly and energetic with an impressive local knowledge of Hampton. We visited their office in February and the process of selling our house was explained to us. Aaron visited us and was positive and interested in our property, which we found very encouraging. The selling dates were proposed and agreed. The photography was very professional. The house was advertised and the visits managed very smoothly. We completed the sale in September and in all respects we feel Devenports sold our house well for us. We felt that we were well advised in every aspect and the commission rate which had been agreed represented very good value for money. We had unsuccessfully tried to sell our house through another local agent and had a horrendous experience and 4 months of unsuccessful viewings. We took it off the market for a few months and decided to put it back on in the Spring. Devenports had recently appeared in the area, and we initially viewed a house through them. We were impressed by Harry's professional approach so arranged for them to value our place and following meeting Aaron we asked them to market our property. The were great from day one. James handled our sale, along with Harry, and everything was handled quickly and professionally. They had an offer on the second day of viewings, handled the negotiations and called me with a figure they felt was reasonable, which was the figure we hoped we'd get. Communication was excellent. James called me frequently over to next couple of months, keeping me updated with the sale and always responding quickly to any queries we had. I can honestly say that had it not been for James' hard work, we would still be waiting for a completion date. He was key in getting our sale (and purchase through another agent) over the line. I have no problem in recommending Devenports - they got the job done.
