Henshaw Fox are the best Estate Agents in Romsey and it isn't even close. I found them honest, informative and available. Tom, Nicci, Dale, Steve, Ella and Sheena were all incredibly helpful but special mention must go to Gwen who really was the star of the show as Sales Progresser. What an incredible service we received from the team here at Henshaw Fox Romsey! From the very start they were professional, great communicators and made it feel as though they were really working for us and our needs. Steve was great organising the initial valuation, photos and viewings. We didn’t feel rushed with the photos either, the professional photographer came and spent proper time taking wonderful photos of our house, with professional equipment not an iPhone ! After each viewing Steve didn’t make us wait the painstaking 24 hours to see if buyers were interested, he would call us with 5 mins of a viewing with his initial thoughts. This was brilliant because so many times in the past with other agents we were forever chasing and waiting. As for Gwen, well she is a real “gem”! Throughout the whole process it felt like she literally worked for us and only us, she understood the excitement of our new property and her updates and communication was fantastic. We couldn’t be happier with the professional, yet personal service we received from this agent. If you are considering selling please consider these guys, they won’t disappoint! By far the best estate agent that we've come into contact with in the area. From the start to the end, nothing was too much trouble, we felt valued at all stages and all staff worked extremely hard to help make it a smooth purchase. I can't fault Steve Gready and Nicci Crocker from Henshaw Fox. Their customer service, professionalism, tenacity, attention to detail and down right awesomeness made selling and buying our houses in the lead up to the end of the stamp duty holiday much less stressful than it otherwise would have been. They shimmied on non-communicative (and sometimes downright rude) solicitors, acted as go-betweens between all parties in the chain and offered sound advice and support all the way through the process. Choosing an estate agent is not as simple as you might think. We made a bad choice initially and were seduced by a high, and unrealistic, valuation of our house. So more cautiously we chose Henshaw Fox. Tom Henshaw came to value the house and was extremely professional, polite and clear about what we could expect when using his company. He charges fixed fees which are very competitive, Tom took the photos of our house himself and they were really impressive, giving a very good idea of the house and gardens. He also recommended getting a 3D tour of the property to assist with viewings during lockdown (this is amazing and I would really recommend having one done lockdown or not). Viewings came thick and fast, so the Henshaw Fox marketing strategy clearly works and we had offers on the first day on the market. So far so good, but then there’s the hard part, all the back and forth with surveys and searches and paperwork, solicitors etc. It’s so complicated and this is where Henshaw Fox and their After Sales Manager, Nicci Crocker take a star turn. Weekly contact to confer on progress and advise how to ease the sale forward to exchange and completion were an absolute god send ensuring things didn’t languish. We had a problem at the lower end of our sale chain and Nicci came into her own, chasing down the problem and keeping us informed of resolutions. I can wholeheartedly recommend Tom, Nicci and their colleagues, theirs is a slick, well managed organisation that really takes as much stress out of the house selling process as possible.PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value
