Please avoid this unprofessional office in Hastings. Thought it was weird that my requests was not followed through. Been waiting to speak to a manager for a week. Nothing, called back. It was obvious the fella did not pass on my message. Not responded to emails. When challenged, he was happy to tell me he didnt like me. Think it was the colour of my skin.Update Foxs and sons are questioning my review. Trustpilot want evidence. My complaint was done over the phone. The company did not address my complaint in writing. As i advised trustpilot. Whoever is challenging this has not contacted the branch manager who i spoke to at length and arranged for someone to value my property last week. Perhaps they should do their own checks before they challenge my experience. After this insult. I wont be putting any business their way. Pure cowboys. Minus any stars

I viewed properties for a half dozen agencies in Brighton and this one was by far the worst. I think a seller would have to be mental to list their property with these dodgy used car salesmen types. It's not just the lack of professionalism among the individuals who work there, but the very culture and structures of the agency itself. To give one example, they send tons of spam after you've already opted out. And to opt out you have to click on one link, that send you a link to another link, and then another link. And even when you spend 10 minutes going through what should be a simple process that they have deliberately made difficult, they STILL send you marketing e-mails.

We couldn't be happier with the service we have received from Leon Gullis of Fox and Sons Crewkerne over the past week. From the outset of our viewing he was friendly, professional and informative, highlighting features of the property and useful information about the locality and town. He gave us space and time to really look around and we never felt rushed. We made an offer that day and in the subsequent six days, whilst viewings were still ongoing, he kept us in touch with the progress of our offer. After our offer was accepted Leon was extremely helpful with all the initial processes including recommending conveyancing solicitors and offering to arrange a survey and searches. He has been delightful to deal with so far and we've no doubt he will do all he can to ensure our journey to completion goes smoothly. We would have no hesitation in giving Leon 10 out of 10! We would give 11 if we could!

I have recently had the pleasure of dealing with Fox and Sons Peacehaven branch and if I could give them more than 5 stars I would.This is the first time that I have had to sell and buy a home in 20 years. I'm a single mum to 3 children under 10 so time and working to my schedule was so important to me.At the start of the process I felt completely out of my depth and had no idea where to start but they made me feel at ease straight away.The whole team at the branch have just been incredible. The process has been fast, efficient, smooth and professional. I have been kept updated at all times and everyone has been so approachable and nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble, even when I took my 3 children on a viewing.The service was so good that I even used their mortgage advisor, Jonathan, and the service provided has been incredible.I would particularly like to thank Tom and Alice for their patience and understanding especially with the amount of questions that I had. They always got back to me quickly with the answers and explained things in terms that I understood.Thank all for the work you have done for me. I would highly recommend the team and the services they provide.

I am very disappointed in the service that my husband and I received from Fox and Sons Southampton.Firstly we dealt with multiple people when it came to property offers and viewings when we expected to have 1 person handling our property.We were supposed to be dealing with Chloe but then ended up dealing with multiple people which was confusing.Secondly the unprofessionalism with the agents. Emma from the Southampton branch left a voicemail which was meant for a potential buyer to my husbands phone. It did not sound professional at all!There was lack of communication from fox and sons Southampton. We had to keep chasing them to ask them what was going on with the offer that we had received. Only to be told after a few days the person that put the offer in dropped out and chose another property.We took our property off the market and a few days later got a call to say someone has put an offer on our property. We asked if the potential buyer can go any higher and we still have not heard back. It has been 3 DAYS!!!! If someone is so keen (like you said over the phone) to purchase our home, why are we waiting 3 days with no response? You were supposed to make this process smooth and easy and yet this experience has been really horrible and had left us feeling drained, very disappointed and deceived. Fox and sons please remove our details from your system and don’t ever contact us again.

Excellent - superlative even - service and help from Grace at Kemptown/Brighton Fox&Sons. Grace was super efficient, dealt with a myriad of inquiries and was always on hand and on top of everything re. an offer on a property in Kemptown.Having dealt with a lot - I mean a lot - of estate agents in Brighton - which is enjoying a property boom - I can hand on heart say that even though most are lovely - it really stands out when you have got someone who a) isn't trying to flog you something you don't want and b) who is doing their job so well - they actually look out for what you are not thinking about or seeing in the process of looking at a property to buy. It is HUGELY helpful when an estate agent is that thorough and cares about their job so much - and of course this is so conducive to you wanting to do business with them.I totally get that estate agents get cynical and jaded as they do their job year after year - it must be exhausting - but when you have someone so on the ball and preempting what you are missing, and not thinking about, it makes all the difference.Thank you Fox&Sons - and Grace in particular. An absolute pleasure to deal with and one of those rare entities - a consummate professional!Anita

Do not use Fox & Sons in house conveyancing firm. I’m not a Fox & Sons customer but our buyer is (as that is their agent) and they’ve held up our chain for months. We agreed a sale in October 2024, it was discovered in January 2025 that our buyer needed an amendment to their lease on their leasehold property before they could sell it (a deed of variation) three months later to today, only now has the Fox & Sons conveyancing firm read the leases properly and determined what they need to do and there is still no end in sight. All in our chain has needlessly been put to extra stamp duty cost, the cost of arranging a new mortgage offer because previous ones have expired, we’ve had houses in the chain being re marketed, causing further stress. Our solicitor told me today that they have three chains including ours that are all stuck and going nowhere due to a deed of variation, and guess what, every one of those chains has the same Fox & Sons conveyancing firm handling the deed of variation. They clearly don’t know what they’re doing and I would suggest unless you want to waste your money on delays, and be stressed beyond belief, do not use Fox & Sons in house conveyancing. I don’t normally post reviews, if I get bad service, I simply don’t go back. However, on this occasion, I’m getting bad service that is costing me and others in our chain more money, and there is nothing I can do about it.

Fox and Sons weren’t my originally estate agents, but I’m so pleased that I asked them to help me after a run of bad luck with my original agent!The service that I received from Morgan & Annie at the Saltash Branch has been nothing but exemplary.Morgan offers help and advise all the way along the process, that in itself takes a huge pressure off knowing your in such capable hands. I have been informed of updates as and when they’ve arisen, from numerous phone conversations and letters, giving me huge confidence in them.The level of knowledge, professionalism and experience that I’ve seen from Morgan is a true credit to Fox and Sons, Morgan really has gone above and beyond to sell my house, and I really feel like I’ve been made a priority.I can honestly say after such a positive experience I will only ever be using Fox and Sons in the future.Annie has also been a breath of fresh air, she’s incredibly polite, friendly and courteous, and was in a class of her own when she showed my house to prospective buyers. Fox and Sons should be incredibly proud to have such a fantastic team.

I was extremely happy with the service I received from Millie Howden at Fox and Sons in Amesbury. The valuing of the house was arranged at short notice owing to my personal time restrictions. From the offset Millie was both professional and friendly throughout. She clearly explained everything regarding selling and answered my questions. When I called the office a couple of times after her visit to ask further questions she gave me the time to answer them, didn't make me feel rushed but a valued customer. A credit to her office in her whole approach.

I had a great experience with Fox and sons (Hove Church road) they were professional and extremely helpful. Every time I have a question or was unsure about anything they were very quick to get back via email. I would recommend fox’s and sons especially as new buyers and not knowing a lot about what needed to be done and when they helped through the whole process. I used Jamie Elvin the in house mortgage adviser who was also brilliant and really easy to work with, and Keira Jarvis was also amazing and really persistent in pushing through our sale. I cannot recommend Daniel the mortgage advisor enough!! He has helped us so so SO much over the past few months with our everchanging situation and he always supported us in the kindest, most knowledgeable and understanding ways. His advice was so invaluable and he was always quick to come back with whatever we needed. For someone who doesn't really understand all this technical mortgage stuff, he was extremely patient and good at explaining things. Fox and Sons Mutley Plymouth have been chasing us to value and market our property for several months. They came along a few days ago, promising to “work on a valuation” that same afternoon, but not a peep out of them since. Very disappointing considering the number of times they rang to arrange a viewing!

Having recently returned to the south west i was struggling to find a property in the Yeovil area due to being in a complex situation and due to the huge demand in rental properties. After being told no a million times, Fox and Sons in Yeovil got in contact, it was Leon. He took the time to understand my situation fully, and then arranged a viewing of two properties for me and after three months of being told “No, Sorry”, Leon had found me the perfect property and Landlord. I move in tomorrow, its been a long process but Leon has kept me up to date throughout and has been on the phone or on email any time i have needed to ask a question or get an update, where i have spoken to other members of the team, they have been fantastic too, Leon however, has really stood out and gone above and beyond any other letting agent i have experienced over the years. Thank you Leon for picking me up, giving me hope, and getting me into a beautiful property with a fantastic landlord when you really were my last hope. You put me at ease, and restored my faith in letting agents, having been given false hope and lies over the past three months by others.

Hassle free sale of our home , sold in 4 weeks , property was on with pcm for 8 months I approached fox and sons they said they would do there best to sell in 4 weeks and they did , very happy with the service , I was congratulated immediately once I accepted an offer , very close to asking price I must thank Callum , Alex and Charles they have been very very helpful and always replied quickly to my calls and e mails , I used fox and Sons 22 years ago to buy the house and I had great service then and I just wish I had asked them before asking pcm as the house would of been sold months ago , but today I am very happy it’s finally sold with the professional company they are Ken Press
