GoogleJohn is so helpful and really wants to help. His advice is valuable. I will recommend others go speak to him if you’re either looking for a property or your a landlord.. I am so pleased that I came across his company, because I can honestly say, that not many estate agents will offer this kind of help. Other I have come across just want to get you on their books and get their commission, and pretty much don't care about anything else. London Estates have really absolutely excellent.

GoogleAmazing Lettings agency! I have been a tenant of London Estates for the past few years. I can honestly say they have the best Lettings agency I have ever been with in the 19 years I have been renting in London. Our landlord switched us to London Estates after becoming dissatisfied with another agency. Right from the outset it was clear it would be a different experience being with London Estates Friendly, helpful and responsive: John and the team at London Estates make everything easy for tenants and landlords alike and I always found myself looking forward to dealing with them. They made it easy for us to make sure we were looking after the property in the right way and having a good living experience as tenants. Even when our landlord decided the sell the property recently, they have made the check out process as smooth and easy for us as possible. Can’t recommend them highly enough to manage your property and give your tenants a great experience!

GoogleI am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the service provided by London Estates. I was rented a messy and worn apartment that was not at all professionally cleaned. Despite my thorough domestic cleaning of the apartment to a higher standard than it was presented to me before I moved out, the agency kept my deposit for a professional cleaning fee. This is completely unjust and an unacceptable way to treat a tenant. To make matters worse, I was even emailed by the agency stating that I had to clean the apartment to a professional level, despite the fact that the apartment was presented to me in a dirty condition with human hairs on the carpet and other stubborn stains. This is a complete breach of trust and I would not recommend this agency to anyone. They have shown a complete disregard for their tenants and their responsibilities. I have never experienced such poor customer service and lack of accountability from a letting agency. The fact that they kept my deposit for a professional cleaning fee when I had already cleaned the apartment to a higher standard than it was presented to me, is completely unacceptable. It is clear that the agency did not properly maintain the property and instead, chose to pass the responsibility onto the tenant. Additionally, the agency displayed a complete lack of consideration for their tenants when it came to replacing broken blinds. Instead of providing adequate replacement blinds, they chose to install paper-thin blinds that did not block any sunlight. It was even reported to us by the handyman who did the repair that the landlord refused to pay for anything more expensive than what was given to us. This is a clear indication of the agency's lack of concern for the well-being of their tenants and their properties. It is not only inconvenient but also dangerous to have inadequate blinds in the apartment, especially during hot summer days. To add to the list of grievances, the letting agency also refused to fix the major holes in the floor, despite my repeated requests. These holes not only caused a safety hazard but also allowed huge spiders to roam freely in the apartment. The agency's reasoning for not fixing the holes was that the spiders would always find a way in, which is not only unacceptable but also unprofessional. This lack of action not only put the tenants at risk but also showed a complete disregard for their duty to provide a safe and habitable living environment. I am extremely dissatisfied with the service provided by London Estates and I urge others to think twice before renting from them. Their lack of professionalism and disregard for the well-being of their tenants is unacceptable and I will be taking further action to ensure that my deposit is returned to me. In conclusion, the service provided by London Estate has been extremely unsatisfactory and unacceptable. They have displayed a complete lack of responsibility and accountability in maintaining the property, and their actions have caused inconvenience, discomfort, and safety concerns for the tenants. The agency's refusal to fix the major holes in the floor and the installation of inadequate blinds, along with their decision to keep the deposit for a professional cleaning fee, demonstrates their complete disregard for their tenants and their responsibilities as a landlord.

And I think that is shown in the email you sent us prior to your exit: Dear London Estates -“Thank you all for a lovely stay. My experience with London Estates starting from phone calls with John to emails with Ioana has been incredibly pleasant and you guys were always so prompt in resolving any issues we raised. I especially enjoyed your friendliness and easiness to talk to. I’ll be using my experience with you as the standard from now with other LAs until I come back to you another day” I understand your concerns with regard to the cleaning issues, which were raised by the independent inventory clerk. You disagreed with them, and elected to use the TDS Tenancy Deposit Scheme adjudicators to decide on evidence supplied as to weather the charges to you were valid or not. Unfortunately for you, the adjudicators deemed the apartment to have been professionally cleaned on entry but not on exit, hence the award for costs to the landlord. I think your feedback is a little unjust, as you had previously praised us for our diligence and efficiency. GoogleJohn has been instrumental in making this flat purchase happen and overall a very positive experience. The purchase nearly fell apart multiple times for differences in needs and approach of buyer and seller but John understood both sides very well and every time has demonstrated an ability to problem solve and find compromises between both parties to achieve a win-win for everyone. He truly built bridges between buyer and seller and had excellent judgment throughout on the path forward. Job well done and the purchase would not have been possible without him. Anca and John were absolutely amazing from the beginning to the end, could not recommend them more. GoogleGreat estate agents , Always sorted any little problems out as soon as possible can’t fault them for the way they conduct themselves and run the business . But only negatives and why it’s not 5 starts Is because they deducted £100 from me for the £200 deep clean, which I spent hours on end and spent about £30 on cleaning equipment getting the place nearly spotless so not sure why they paid £200 for a deep clean when there was only about 30 mins worth of cleaning to be done there was abit of dust on top of a door and extractor fan needed cleaning, I’m sure they could have got someone just to go clean them things instead of paying for deep clean . But it is what it is ,most estate agents do that these days probably so they can show the new tenants it got deep cleaned by professionals ,just seems abit harsh on tenants who leave it in good nick because what’s the point spending all the hours I did leaving it clean if going to get billed for deep clean anyway ? . I agreed to the deduction as overall they’ve been good agents so I don’t want to dispute over £100 and then have to wait ages for deposit . My flat was down an alley way and the restaurants and bin men would leave it a right mess , when I asked John at the start if someone could clean it he said it’s not their problem that bit as don’t own the pathway . I get it’s not there problem as they don’t own the alley way but you’d think if you had flats there you would pay someone to go every 2 weeeks or so to tidy up . So I had to tidy it up a few times myself which I didn’t want to do but had no choice . The flat was excellent and the cheapest on the market for that size imo but the alley way definitely ruined it because it was embarrassing sometimes to get friends around walking through loads of rubbish to get to flat

GoogleFrom a tenant's perspective after renting in London for over ten years, this is the BEST agency I've ever dealt with. John has been amazing at dealing with any issues and the ability to contact them on phone, email or whatsapp is great. We had a power issue out of their control over Christmas and New Year, and their service could not have been any better. The tradesmen they engage are also professional and friendly with excellent standards - we couldn't recommend this business any more highly!

GoogleFantastic estate agency, me and my partner rented via them for just over three years. My partner was actually there a year prior to me, renting with one of his friends. So they have well and truly helped us with every situation imaginable for a tenant. Everything from first time of leasing the property, changing of contract, renewal of contract as well as ending of contract. Throughout every single step they have remained clear and professional in their communication. Anytime we have had questions they have always been able to help us. By far the most reliable and trustworthy agency I’ve rented via during my 12 years in London.

GoogleJohn made life really easy. It was time for me to move on from my previous place. When I met John, I took his number and he took the time to find out the kind of place I wanted, my circumstances, salary, etc. Then some how in the worst rental crisis since London was a Roman fort he managed to find exactly what I wanted, at a price I could afford! John was incredibly easy to deal with and didn't waist my time with things I didn't want to see which was amazing and really went a long way to building trust. When I found a place I wanted he told me exactly what was needed and from there everything was easy and painless. The people in the office where incredibly easy to deal with, polite and prompt. They sent me out everything I needed guided me through the whole process and made everything smooth, easy and painless. If you're looking for a property I cannot recommend them and John enough.

John and the team (Lily and Iona too) never pushed me to pay more or rush like other agencies- it felt like they had my best interests in mind. They were patient and only showed me great properties. GoogleI have been in the UK for nearly 10 years now and London Estates is the best lettings agent I have dealt with so far - from the signing of contracts to dealing with ad hoc issues (broken boiler, mould etc) and right up to ending the tenancy (cleaning up/inventory and deposit return). They have been understanding of issues we have raised over the course of our tenancy and have worked with us (very quickly and efficiently!) to make sure we are happy and comfortable in the property we called home for a whole year.
