GoogleHorrible time with this company. After being rushed into a flat (i told them i was happy to wait but was told "this would be an issue") i discovered how unclean and poor the accommodation was. These images were after hours of cleaning when i finally gave up (can see the filth on the sponge). Dirt, dust, hair, stains everywhere)
Long story short, i ended tenancy and even though i never moved in was still charged 2 weeks rent and also waited over a month for my deposit (which wasn't put into a deposit scheme) and excess rent to be payed back. I was also told the accommodation was fine but after my tenancy was ended it was back on market with new carpets and totally renovated.
If you are thinking of using this company for renting I'd advise against it.

Hi Mark, thank you for your feedback. As you can see by the vast majority of 5 star reviews we take our service level very seriously, with resounding success. On the rare occasion there are ever any failings we do wish to be held accountable and will always do everything we can to rectify the situation.
However, in this case there has been no failing by Your Move or the landlord as per our numerous emails and conversations on the phone. For the avoidance of doubt and anyone reading this response;
The landlord cleaned prior to move in, although they are only human and sometimes people miss things unintentionally. When the concerns were raised a full professional clean was offered immediately without hesitation. You turned this down and served your 28 days notice, which is entirely your prerogative. The landlord actually then released you 2 weeks early as a gesture of goodwill, and you received this money back without issue. The deposit also was not registered as you moved in on a Friday and served notice on the Monday. This meant it was never processed to the deposit scheme and was released back to you in full, again without question.
We appreciate that regardless of the context this experience has not been to your satisfaction, however we are confident that we offered a quick, efficient and professional service throughout the process. We wish you the best of luck with your next property.

GooglePoor service for ourselves renting a property through Your Move, every time a conflict came up they took the stance of the Landlord and ignored the facts, charging for damaged items which had been recorded on the inventory as being damaged when we moved in, and even charging us as tenants for items which were not even on the inventory as damaged. The Tenancy Deposit Scheme in Scotland was not in force when tenancy commenced therefore no way to dispute matters.
