GoogleI recently sold a property with Scott Maddison and a sale had been agreed within a few days of being listed, which was great! I found the staff to be very polite and respectful, especially Holly, who I dealt with most of the time. I had to chase for updates a couple of times (they would have received five stars otherwise), but apart from that I was very pleased with the service I received.

GoogleI have used both the letting and sales departments of Scott Maddison for the last 10 years and can definitely recommend them. Alison from lettings is great. She is friendly, professional and always responds quickly to emails and phone calls. I have recently sold the property through the sales department and both Jonathan and Megan have always been very pleasant and helpful to deal with. They dealt with the sale promptly and professionally and kept me regularly informed throughout the whole process. This was much appreciated - thank you to the team.

GoogleScott Maddison have been exceptional during this extremely stressful moment. With an eviction notice hanging over me, from the minute I requested a viewing I could see that they put their clients first. Alison handled things before the application and they did everything they could to ensure things got done quickly and as stress free as possible. Michelle took over after my application had been accepted and they were exceptional! Handling everything, chasing people up and when there was a blip with the reference company, worked hard to ensure I could still have the flat I viewed. The rest of the team at the office were amazing when I picked the keys up, they were friendly, made conversation and kept everything as smooth as possible. I honestly wouldn't have a bad thing to say about this company.

GoogleTerrible..avoid. Underhand way of claiming you have waived certain terms in your letting agreement such as rental warranty which is claimed to be included as "standard" . They include a waiver letter at the end of the "online tenancy agreement" they send, I've had a solicitor confirm this is UNLAWFUL so am going through the dispute process. Also do not reference prospective tenants properly so I've ended up with a new tenant who has not paid any rent from the start. The Directors Robert Love and George Aves have an appalling attitude of closing ranks and fobbing you off with lengthy emails that don’t actually address the facts at all and I've had no apology for the fact that they issued important documents to the tenant incorrectly which had to be re-issued, delaying the whole process. They do not take responsibility for anything other than taking their fees from you. *****Update and In response to their reply to this review, a solicitor has already confirmed you have acted unlawfully and all you are doing is arrogantly knowing you have deeper pockets than the people you purport to provide a service too so they are unlikely to be able to afford taking you to court. That doesn’t make you any less immoral for the way you trade ….it just means you are likely to get away with it!!! I’ll attach some photos of some of what you also class as a clean checkout…this is just the stuff from the loft which obviously wasn’t checked at all from the first tenant so you have performed 2 full checkouts and still missed this! You can respond however you like with excuses and classing it as us just “disagreeing” but the evidence speaks for itself.
Dear C, As you rightly point out this matter is still on-going and so we cannot comment in any detail, and in any event we cannot and prefer not to go into detail on the specifics in a public forum, as we would not wish to add a breach of your confidentiality to list the list of accusations. You rightly say that we have entered into lengthy correspondence with you on the various matters at branch and senior management level. All we can simply say, and all that we will say here, is that it is very easy to conflate "closing ranks" or "fobbing off", with us consistently disagreeing with you, based on the facts of the matter.
