David Thomas - what a star. Incredibly personable and approachable, gentle and reassuring with my 90 year old mother.. she is in safe and professional hands. A pleasure to have value the house, very quick with written follow up and not at all pushy. Listened and heard what was required and made constructive suggestions in line with our wishes. I highly recommend him as a genuinely nice guy to deal with he delivers and knows what he is talking about without being a typical salesperson...very refreshing and efficient...great service. I was buying a property which Fox & Sons were dealing with on behalf of the owner. Claire was absolutely brilliant during the exchange, even though l was not her client, she worked her socks off to ensure that the exchange went through smoothly, l truly believe the exchange would have failed without her help, as the solicitors in the chain needed constant emails from her to make sure they did their part quickly. She always replied to my emails, and was kind and considerate. Thank you Claire. I can't wait to move in!!

A massive thank you to everyone at fox and sons hailsham, first I dealt with David who came to value my property, he was very warm and made me feel at ease considering I had no idea what to do with selling a house, I mainly dealt with Shannon and Natalie during the house sale they both came across as warm and friendly and helped me every step of the way, towards the end I dealt with Claire who was great at closing the deal and getting the sale over the finish line, whenever I went into the office I was greeted with big smiles and a very friendly atmosphere so again a huge thank you to the hailsham fox and sons team you were brilliant x

Fox and sons were great and very accommodating. It was my first experience of buying a house and Harrison was amazing. We had a few complications (not our fault) towards the end and Harrison kept us updated every step Of the way which was reassuring and kept our confidence in the estate agent. We were able to visit our house as many times as we wanted and was accommodated by the shop with others if Harrison wasn’t around. Very good service overall and a loss to the Hailsham team to lose Harrison to Bexhill. I would use Fox and sons again for buying another house in the future! Thank you once again :)

Fox and Sons Hailsham have been super accommodating and helpful. We went to a first viewing on a property and met Jack, who was really friendly and answered all of our questions and even tolerated our little one running around! We called up the following day and booked a second viewing for the same property and on the day called up to say we were going to be late and they accommodated and understood wonderfully. Jack met us at the property at the new time despite having an extremely full day of viewings. We wanted to put an offer in however was informed no one was available to take the offer as there was no one in the office to do so currently. Later that same day, we got a call from Simon, from another branch nearby, who took the offer after Jack informing him of the situation of wanting to put an offer forward. Later that same day, we got our offer accepted (subject to one condition). Jack communicated throughout the week with us and asked how we felt about the property and answered further questions on the phone. Thank you Jack for being so helpful this week!

Fox and Sons Langley- Disappointing experience. In my experience, my offer was not passed to the vendor for approximately a week after I submitted it. I had to chase them to get a response, to be told two other people were dealing and they would get back to me, they did not I had to chase again and was told they didn’t realise it was my official offer even though I spent thirty minutes in total to them and the reasons why I was submitting that offer! I was subsequently told that the vendor had “chewed their ear” about the level of the offer, and I was left feeling that I was being held responsible for the vendor’s reaction. I was also disappointed that concerns and defects I had raised during the viewing did not appear to be acknowledged in the same way afterwards, being told that vendor said they did not exist, I felt dismissed and gaslighted From my perspective, I would have expected the offer and the information I provided about the property to be communicated promptly and accurately, and for the agent to provide appropriate advice to their client. Unfortunately, based on my experience, I would not choose to use this agent again.

I viewed a number of properties for sale, some of which were listed with Fox & Sons. Their sales team were always friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. In particular, Harrison was great (even though it was his first viewing, I think) and some weeks later, gave us a second viewing of the house we eventually bought. And Shannon handled the sale which was a little unusual as the owner lives abroad and the property had tenants, but she kept us fully informed and was always available to handle any of our queries. I would be happy to recommend them as a property-buyer (I have no experience of them as a seller.)

Harassing me with phone calls when iv asked them to stop more than once

I asked fox and sons to come a do a valuation of my late father’s property. I have then been phoned 20times since asking if they can put the property on the market for me. I asked them politely to not phone me any more as it’s on the market with a different estate agent and to take my details of the system. They said they would I have since then received 5 other phone calls from them and each time been told they will take my of the the system. I have had three calls since and each time I have asked not to be phoned and they keep phoning me. It’s getting to the point of harassment now. I would stay clear. They clearly don’t listen to peoples wishes and feel it’s ok to continue to phone someone when they have been asked not to. If only they put the same amount of effort into selling a property ( they had my old house on the market two years and had about three people for viewings. STAY CLEAR

I have used Fox and Sons over the last 8 years and they have been excellent every time. I really feel they have my best interests at heart with their support and advice. I recently had a property advertised and it sold at full market value and completed in about 6 weeks. I was kept informed at every stage of events. It felt too good to be true! I was so lucky. I would especially like to thank David and Shannon, and also Memish the photographer, who spent ages getting the right shots. In addition I would recommend joining Fox and Sons' financial support team Sequence. I joined them in 2016 and the benefits have been amazing. My mortgages have beaten what is publicly available, conveyancing prices are really good and I have had personal financial advice as well from Imran and David in getting everything right to help me with my plans for the future for myself and my family. Thank you both. I would not go anywhere else. I recommend them to anyone looking to sell their home, or to buy a new one. They quietly get on and do an excellent job without bragging about it. We flew down from Scotland to view several properties. We were lucky to have Harrison showing us around. It never occurred to us that he was new, as he came across knowledgeable and professional. On a second viewing on one of the properties, he had to contend with our 4yr old granddaughter running around. He never lost his composure and continued with the viewing. I have no doubt he has chosen the right occupation. He even looked the part in his smart suit and tie. Maybe we are old fashioned but to us the way staff present them selves says a lot about the company they work for. Thank you Harrison, although on this occasion the property didn't tick all our boxes we will come to you should anything else come on the market in your area.

Terrible service, avoid!

Terrible service, would not recommend. Would give zero stars if I could! There was no feedback following viewings, zero communication or market updates, and I had to point out listing errors multiple times (including the lease length being incorrectly shown as zero years!). I only received a brief, non-committal apology. I’ve now withdrawn the property. I wish I’d gone with an independent originally, someone who actually cares.

Continuously hassled even after asking multiple times not to be

The estate agent that came to value my property needed more customer experience. He asked very intrusive questions, was rude about other estate agents valuations, was very pushy and I felt I had to be firm when I said I am only wanting a second opinion, not for them to market my property. I asked not to be contacted by them and I would be in touch if I needed their services. In the weeks following, the decision was made for me not to use them as I was contacted via telephone at least twice a week, pushing me to put it on the market with them when all I’d asked for is a valuation. When I asked multiple times to be taken off their contact list, the message clearly didn’t get through as I was contacted a further three times after this. No voicemails were left - just missed calls from an unknown number. When I explained my frustrations, they were far from understanding and got defensive. I will not be using this estate agent nor recommending it to anyone.
