GoogleContact Amos on the day a new property was released in order to arrange viewing. I used my African name in the viewing and they immediately said that the landlord was not accepting viewings and the property was not available. A week later I asked my Personal Assistant to use her English name to arrange a viewing on the property and she was told that the property was available and they had lots of viewings.
Edit: Amos later said to my personal assistant that they would make the booking in my name, after it was pointed out to them. However they still did not book the viewing in my name.
The woman who lied to me about the availability later phoned me and did not apologise but instead began rudely telling me she would cancel my viewing unless I removed this review, even though at this point they still hasn't booked the viewing in my name (how can they cancel a viewing that they haven't even booked).
You can see from their reply they are not interested in apologising or addressing this behaviour but instead in threatening me.
I hope they do speak to their solicitor because hopefully then they can be advised that Under the Equality Act 2010, it is illegal for businesses to refuse to provide a service based on ethnicity.

I’m sorry but this is completely untrue and I find the racist insinuations frankly offensive. We have called you on this matter to explain the situation and you had agreed to remove the review which has still not been taken down. Because of the seriousness of your allegations our solicitor will be contacting you.
Edit: you and your Pa were contacted twice and explained the situation which was not racist at all which you agreed. You were booked in to view the property and we asked you to remove the racist review as is just not true. In fact twice you said you would remove the review. When you didn’t we said we will have to cancel the viewing as we will be taking legal action against you. You said you didn’t want to view it anyway. We are not threatening anyone however we will not have untrue comments said about us.
