One of the worst customer experiences of my life. Was very hopeful thanks to some of their staff, however upon move in we were ignored constantly. Our Account manager was on leave for 4 months and neither their manager nor other staff answered our calls or emails regarding faulty property issues, dampness or help. Then they tried to charge us on check-out for things that were the same as in check-in. Worst communication I've ever had.

Fantastic work from Stirling Ackroyd today. I originally only knew about town ends estate agents (there sister company) but Freddie from the central team explained all about the merge of both companies to create Stirling Ackroyd as a whole and what the benefits would be if I was to start marketing my property. It really gave me that boost to get things moving and I couldn’t have picked a better estate agent to work with.

Even though the process took a long time due to other complications. We had a very good experience selling my houses with Simon, Alpha and Aron. They were always polite, funny have great personalities and thorough in dealing with our requests and buyers needs. I have used them in the past when I bought my first house 18 years ago, when they were call Townends and I would highly recommend them again going forward.

GoogleIt was great working with Stirling Ackroyd and Simon Hart - they were professional from the start, gave great advice about pricing and secured an agreed sale quickly. When things started wobbling they stepped in and saved the deal with persistence and persuasion! Doing this all remotely can be a challenge, but emails were always quickly answered and all issues dealt with - I'd very much recommend these guys. Do not use these for their conveyancing services. You cannot get in touch with them, they do not answer their phones or emails, nor do they provide you with basic updates. We had to speak to the senior partner of the firm to have the trainee solicitor taken off our case and reallocated. When it had been reallocated, the new trainee was just as bad. both trainees did not seem competent at their job and our estate agent had to give them basic guidance which they should have known. Even the senior partner did not respond to our emails or deal with our calls when we tried to go above the trainee. Further, the trainee left obtaining the funds from the bank until the very last minute therefore the rest of the chain could not complete on the day which had been proposed 4 weeks prior. We had previously sent them an official complaint letter in which our complaints were not answers effectively.

I started using Stirling Ackroyd many years ago, first for purchasing a flat and later on for renting it out. I was lucky that the Property Manager of my flat was Ms Anita from the beginning. Always pro-active, finds the right solution for every small problem, understands a landlord’s point of view and acts as a well balanced intermediary between the tenant and the landlord. Answers immediately to your emails (very rare behaviour nowadays!), goes strait to the point and keeps in contact until the problem is solved. She is an extremely rare and valuable asset to this Agency, since, IMO, the value of an Agency lies, for the biggest part, in each and every employee !
