Stirling Ackroyd are a truly professional business, offering a responsive and highly proactive sales team, something which is lacking with so many other estate agent firms out there. We dealt with Nick, who chased every fine detail between the two parties solicitors and also kept everyone in the picture, notifying us of every stage of the sale. This wasn’t a easy sale for either Nick or the team, as our property had a lot of boxes to tick for the progression of the sale, however saying this, Nick, Zoe and their team, professionally guided us, our solicitors and the buyers to a sale to the happy new owners. Thanks to Dylan we found to perfect flat on our only second day of viewings. He’s been very responsive, helpful and approachable, even moved the furniture between the rooms with us after we rented the place! The move in was a bit of a chaos due to miscommunication between the agency and the landlord though, we ended up waiting for an extra hour on the street with our men in a van to get in to the flat, and paid for an extra hour of service to our vans. So I recommend that you definitely insist to get the keys in advance even though the move-in team says no.PositiveResponsiveness, Professionalism

Although the process was incredibly long through no fault of Stirling Ackroyd, our lettings agent Dylan was very responsive and went out of his way for us to secure our flat. He was available to answer almost 24/7 which could not be more appreciative of! Couldn’t recommend him enough if you are looking to rent. From the first day I spoke to Magdalena Sadkowska on the phone, she demonstrated professionalism and efficiency. Magdalena was calm and explained everything to me about their properties and offers and gave me advice. She also suggested a broker advisor. Delays - Due to poor report

Having used Stirling Ackroyd to value our houses via MHBS, we would not recommend this company. It took their surveyor six attempts to write a satisfactory report for MHBS before funds were released, causing a long delay and issues with our New builders having to find other financial routes to keep our new build project going. There were no issues with the LTV but poorly written report caused delays

Experienced and professional service with a complex portfolio

We have been clients of Stirling Ackroyd (with their letting service) for about two years, and they have been highly professional and knowledgeable. They have managed property issues in a timely fashion as they arise, including handling a complex refurbishment, transferring from a previous (and inept) managing agent, and some slightly difficult tenants. They are also on top of all of the relevant regulatory matters, and do everything in a legally correct manner (to the best of my limited knowledge). I would happily recommend their services.

We have used Sterling Ackroyd for a number of years to manage our BTL property. Sarah Jones who is our current property manager is excellent. She is professional, knowledgeable and friendly and has provided strong continuity with the management of our property. We cannot speak highly enough of the service they offer which is tailored to our requirements. Communications are prompt and tenants issues are relayed to us promptly and dealt with quickly in line with our authorisation. There has rarely been an issue where we feel that we can obtain better value by actioning things directly and this is definitely the exception to the rule that Sterling nonetheless work with us on. Their finance department issues detailed monthly statements of account with rental income always being paid on time. We can accordingly recommend them without reservation
