As a service, pretty good. As a business, not so much. I joined in March 2025 as my accountant no longer offered their address for use as my registered company address. Just over a year after joining on the 'Hoxton Mix's Virtual Office Scan Lite (annual saver)' and I have had two 'price adjustments' that cranked the price from £200 to £250. No improvement in service, no reason give, just 'we can do it'. A classic case of a subscription service milking their customers. They clearly realised it's a big chore to change and are making the most of that inertia. Consider yourself warned.

We completely understand that any price increase can be frustrating. Over the past few years, the cost of operating a regulated UK business has increased materially. This includes higher employer National Insurance contributions, rising business rates, increased wage and energy costs (with no price cap protection for businesses), and higher regulatory supervision and compliance requirements for Trust & Company Service Providers.
We’ve worked really hard to absorb as much of those increases as possible before adjusting pricing.
The annual plan moved from £229.99 to £249.99, an increase of £20 per year, which works out at 5 pence per day. We appreciate that it’s not just about the amount, but about perceived value, and that’s fair feedback.
Alongside rising costs, we’ve invested heavily into improving the platform, including AI-powered mail scanning, fraud detection, spam filtering, smart classification, and wider infrastructure upgrades. There are further enhancements being rolled out over the coming months.
If it feels like we haven’t communicated those improvements clearly enough, that’s something we take seriously and will reflect on.

For the benefit of others reading: when these accounts were cancelled we kept all four active through to their original renewal dates with no further charges, processed and forwarded mail as normal throughout, and offered a further 14 calendar days of goodwill mail-forwarding after each end date to cover anything in transit. Our ability to handle mail is tied to an active contract under the Money Laundering Regulations 2017 and UK GDPR, which is standard across regulated registered-office providers.
We replied to every point raised, in detail and in good faith. Regrettably the correspondence from your side became personal and abusive, including direct profanity aimed at our team, at which point we ended the exchange politely. We hold ourselves to a professional standard regardless of how we're spoken to.

Hi Patryk,Thank you for your feedback.Midlands Eco Domestic Solutions Ltd signed up with Tide on 29 March 2022, but Tide cancelled the account on 30 March 2022 due to failed payments. We do not control your subscription; your account is directly linked to Tide. Six items were returned to the sender between 30 March 2022 and 5 May 2023 due to an inactive subscription. We wrote to you on eight occasions to inform you of this. Unfortunately, we cannot process posts for customers without an active subscription. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but opening posts for non-active customers would be a breach of GDPR hence, why we return it to the sender and ask them to forward it to the correct address. Your January and February letters were forwarded to you on January 19th and February 27th. Regretfully, we can't forward or track letters that don't arrive at our Paul St office, but those that do arrive are recorded and sent the same day. Team Hoxton Mix

It seemed a bit overkill, but apparently, the government stipulated this when I raised a concern. Overall, my experience with them has been positive and I would definitely recommend them.

For some reason they want me to pay again to set up a new company on the system when we have already paid for a year and simply wanted to switch the company we were using the service with. Totally unreasonable of them to demand this when the service has been paid for for the current year and we are only a few months in. Choose another registered company address, not these guys!! Also had a weird issue where my email addresses to login where it wouldn't send me the magic link unless I type in my email address wrong, and then it somehow still comes through to my correct email address.Their login panel is simple but not effective. You don't seem to be able to even change your email address yourself.

However, we do not own or control your account.Regarding the email login issue, it appears you are logging in with a different email address. We have emailed you directly with the email address that Tide provided when you signed up for the Tide virtual office service. Please use the correct email address; we will ensure you can log in.As for the request to set up a new company, please note that all billing and account details are managed by Tide, not the Hoxton Mix, since you signed up through a partner. We provide Tide with an API for virtual office services, but they handle the billing, address changes, and company name changes. We are not contractually allowed to change this information as your contract is with Tide. However, our CEO has reached out to you directly with an option to use the new company at no extra charge and discuss any additional steps needed.It's also important to inform Tide about the status of William Hornby Property LTD and the new company name. There is a legal requirement to obtain KYC (Know Your Customer) documents, which include photo ID and proof of address for the Ultimate Beneficial Owner (UBO), who is the person owning or controlling 25% or more of the business, or otherwise exercising control over the company’s management. Failure to provide these documents could result in legal issues for both Tide and the Hoxton Mix. Our CEO has included our KYC document checklist in his email, which outlines the requirements that are likely similar to those of Tide.Please be aware that if you cancel the account with Tide, they will cancel the service with the Hoxton Mix as well.
