I recently had the pleasure of going on a couple of property viewings in Hackney with Shpend from Kings Group, and I couldn’t be more impressed with the experience. From start to finish, Shpend was professional, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and the properties on offer. He presented each property with great attention to detail, highlighting all the key features while also giving me the space to explore and ask questions. What really stood out was how easy and enjoyable he made the whole process. I was way for a couple of months .my partner did the viewings.he was told to wait downstairs as is custom..we had about 5 viewings. When I came back I realised my jewellery box was gone a cartier pen and boxes of perfumes. All together about 12 k.worth. the jewellery was in my wardrobe. When my partner went up the doors were still open. I know that sometimes viewers open cupboards and wardrobes. A family of about six came around looking at everything. I can't say it was them of course .I went to kings in the high street and told someone there. I never even received a call back. Has anybody else had a similar experience?I'm not saying it was a staff member or anything BTW. But how easy is it for strangers to look around your personal space and have a perfect opportunity to take whatever they see.

I have recently (May 2022) ended a tenancy in a property I found via Kings Group Hackney. I am now unfortunately unable to retrieve my deposit as my landlady has apparently refused to give Kings Group permission to do so despite the fact that there are no issues whatsoever in terms of damage to the property or missing rent etc. The agent who originally dealt with me at the Hackney Branch has gone to ground and has not replied to a single e-mail I've sent regarding this situation (I believe he has moved to another nearby branch) Meanwhile Kings Group Head Office has been quite unhelpful, sending sporadic terse responses to my messages and providing little in the way of concrete help. I have been forced to open a case with the Tenancy Deposit Scheme but have no idea when this issue will be resolved. Please beware of the landlords Kings Group work with. I've learned the hard way some are quite unscrupulous and Kings Group will do very little to help if difficulties arise. If KG respond to this review I'm sure it will be along the lines of "we find tenants but do not manage this property" as they absolve themselves of all responsibility! UPDATE: Further to the comment from Kings Group below, the landlord has indeed agreed that Kings Group can release my deposit but to date their Accounts has not transferred this to me. I have asked for an update and received zero response. I was informed by the Tenancy Deposit Scheme that Kings Group assured them that I had received my deposit and the matter was closed but this is certainly not the case!
