Jodie's team of estate agents are by far the most professional and efficient I have come across. After having a particularly negative experience with both an online and another local agent, it was such a relief to have a strong team conduct our viewings. I got the impression that they worked tirelessly to secure interest in our property. Harriet finalised our sale within a matter of weeks, and was brilliant in communicating with the buyer on our behalf, from the initial offer right through to completion. It was great to feel so supported throughout the whole process. I'd definitely use Dexters again if all their teams are this good.

Lied and mislead

When leaving a joint tenancy, all parties spoke to Dexters, agreed everything and notice was handed in. 3 months later went back on explicit guidance to try to extract additional charges from both tenant and landlord. Staff member was unhelpful and lied about past advice given. Do not recommend working with this company.

I sold my property with Dexter’s in Hackney and could not be more impressed with the service I received. The staff were approachable, hard working and motivated to sell the property, but kept in mind my own personal needs. Jodie, was especially great, she listened to what I said and was really helpful whenever I needed more information or clarification on anything. Buying a property being sold via Dexters was one of the worst experiences of my life. They failed to determine that the property they were selling had a Japanese knotweed issue costing us time and money. We were constantly harassed for updates even after we had given them, then threatened with the seller choosing another bidder. I will never go near this Estate Agent again.
