Unfortunately we were let down by this letting agent yesterday. We had a 6pm viewing for a house in Hayes, I drove 1h in rush hour traffic to visit the property and on arriving I was met by the agent who informed me that the locks had been changed that day and his key did not work, so we could not access the property.He was very apologetic and I understand he was also frustrated as he himself had spent 45 minutes travelling to the property.He did offer to rearrange a viewing but I was so disappointed in the lack of organisation (how can it be that locks are changed and the letting agent/property managers are not informed?) and frustrated at the waste of my time and petrol (2 hours round trip) that I will not be using this company going forwards.I would have left 1 star but the letting agent was truly apologetic and did remain professional in the situation.

GoogleI would not look any further than Dexters Hackney in broadway market. they found us tenants for our flat in Bow, checked them out to make sure they would be perfect for our property. then did all the hard work for us. they have been there for us whenever needed to answer questions and put our minds at rest. advising us on the best time of year to renew a tenancy. the knowledge they have is amazing, and the genuine care they have for their landlords is brilliant. we regularly get a check up call from Greg, to make sure all is going well, and to ensure there's no problems to report. our rent is collected on time, and paid into our account without fail. I could not praise the entire team enough for the hard work they put into getting our property let. not only that but also making sure the tenants are top class ones that will cause no issues. A huge ‘Than you’ to Paris Marshall Senior Property Manager at Dexters for his speedy response, kindness, attentiveness and professionalism. Paris arranged for the Khinda Building Works Ltd to attend our premises to conduct some repairs. I was very impressed with the contractor’s skills to resolve three different repairs within such a short time. The communication was smooth and the contractor was very punctual. GoogleMaeve did an excellent job with our sale - from securing two buyers within a matter of weeks for our unusual property, positive negotiations, through to good and responsive communication from start to finish. A couple of points to consider for Dexters more broadly: - We went with their solicitor recommendation of Simply who ended up being relatively expensive (compared to the lawyer we used for our purchase), caused delays, and were a headache to deal with. Dexters did help to escalate things with them as soon as we alerted them to the issues - We were originally recommended to go on at a very attractive asking price to 'soft launch' with their database, which a week before official launch we were told we should come down from significantly. It may have been better to come on somewhere in-between from the outset. Just something to consider in initial conversations But overall a positive experience and would recommend both Maeve and Dexters highly!

We were badgered by Dexter’s for years so decided last summer to instruct them on a letting. They over promised on the rent they could achieve so we missed the window to secure tenants before the autumn. We also then instructed them to sell as we were receiving no rent . They failed to produce a single credible offer on either basis. We instructed Goldschmidts who found a buyer and at a strong price within a matter of weeks. I’m prompted to write today as we received probably the third cold call from Dexters as the old property is now for rent via the new owners . We told Dexters on at least 2 previous occasions that we had sold the property so I wish they could be more efficient/ professional in all they do.

I had my inspection today with Monika and I honestly just wanted to give some feedback… I have only had her as my property manager for a matter of months but cannot fault her work rate, effort or dedication! She is a true asset to Dexter’s, was fabulous to finally meet her and I really hope she sticks around as she is so quick at providing solutions! Clearly someone who really cares about her job and the people she is working for/with… feel very supported and well looked after!

I have used this estate agent for letting my property for nearly 4 years. For the first three years, I couldn’t fault them, but the staff have Changed hands and I would not recommend them. The majority of staff are incompetent they make so many mistakes and their Fees are high. I did complain to the director and it was a waste of my time. My last tenancy agreement they failed to put in a break clause and I’m now unable to break free of them unless I give them vast amounts of money. Although I have to ride this out, I will not be using them again in the future. I do not recommend them.
