These guys are hard working, professional and extremely competent. It was our first letting experience and Joe Read kept me fully informed throughout and found us some lovely tenants. Eunice Sona went above and beyond and even organised an out of work hours site meeting so we could meet the tenants personally. Seriously impressed with both and their ‘can do’ attitude. Organised and diligent. So glad I chose them!

Danny in the maintenance has been very helpful with my washing machine, he gave me step by step instructions whilst on the phone which were easy to follow and hopefully an engineer would not need to waste their time coming out. My husband and I had a great experience with Mo. We were feeling really stressed about suddenly needing to move house especially as I am currently pregnant. Mo's work ethic and ability to understand what we needed in a new home meant that we were able to secure a new place to live within a week! I first contacted Dexters for a Probate valuation on my Dad's house, they were great - friendly, fast and knowledgeable about the local area. We kept in touch for a couple of years until I was in a position to sell the house, they were never pushy for a listing but kept me up to date on local sales. Jodie, Joe and Moshi, recently sold the house, we had 51 viewings over 2 days with 10 offers over asking price, amazing! I was present for some of the viewings and was most impressed how Moshi had listened to my answers to prospective buyers questions and answered subsequent questions accurately, real professionalism. Most house sales have some difficult negotiation involved and Joe was exceptional in helping me navigate this. One thing I would definitely not do is use their recommended solicitors, Simply Conveyancing. The phone was rarely answered, queries took a long time to be resolved, little attention to detail (mistakes on legal documents) and slow to respond. Dexters were great though and I would highly recommend, I would definitely use them again!PositiveResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

I was on a viewing with a friend who is looking to buy in Hackney and Mosh was constructing the viewing on Middleton road. I must say he was superb. He was steps ahead and super informative... when I am looking to buy I will be coming to him for his expertise. In addition, he had drawn up comparables before the viewing to convey why the property my friend was buying is worth what it was marketed for. He even put informative bullet points on the brochure he handed us to show what the lease details where for the property. Truly impressed!!!

From the very beginning of our search for an estate agent, Dexters really stood out. Dennis Opara was incredibly responsive and easy to work with - we always felt like he really listened to us, and there was never any pressure. When the pandemic hit, he and his team were incredibly helpful in sorting out the delays we needed in our process. When the time came to put our place back on the market, we genuinely couldn't believe how quickly they worked to line up viewings and find us potential tenants. Special shout out to Joe Read, who - within 48 hours of listing our home - found us tenants, and had the whole deal signed before the end of the day. When we were considering selling and moving we reached out to a number of estate agents. All of them were more than happy to help but we decided we needed a bit more time. Jodie of Dexters Hackney was the only agents that actually followed up with us within an agreed time frame. We worked together with the Dexters team and got our house on the market within days followed by offers within weeks. Mosh, Ruairi and the team worked very hard getting the viewers in and getting the sale over the line. They do what they say they will do and we found them responsive and reliable.

Dexters took over the management of my property in E7 where the previous management agency left a lot to be desired. I did notice they didn't have any advertised properties in the direct locality. From the moment they took over, communication was prompt and professional. Assistance was offered where necessary and ideas and advice were always just an email or phone call away. Dennis Opara and Emily Wells managed the initial onboarding and marketing of the property and I cannot praise both of them enough. They listened attentively to the history of the property and gave recommendations as to what the next steps were. The tenant finding stage was handled by Natasha Tarry, one of the most challenging parts, she paid attention to my requirements and made sure all questions and concerns were answered in relation to licensing and regulations. She really went above and beyond when it came to making sure everything would lead to a smooth start of tenancy. Bailey Strutton has been managing the property and the communication between landlord/contractors and tenants, again another star, always prompt, courteous and efficient in her response. I have also had the pleasure of speaking to Joe Read on a few occasions, who has stepped in whenever required and made sure any outstanding requests or concerns have been dealt with. A lovely team that works well and support each other which ultimately ends up with a great customer experience. I hope to use Dexters for any future projects and will certainly be recommending them to colleagues.

When selling our very difficult to sell property Mosh was exceptional and finding us the right buyer, he went above and beyond with helping us and keeping us informed every step of the way. He actually sold our property several times whilst delivering the asking price to us. He's knowledge and skills are by far the best I've seen. Joe Read and his team are exceptional. They found us a tenant for our flat within a week at an asking price that exceeded the valuation we'd received from other agents in the area. Joe has since been incredibly helpful as we've prepared the flat for rental, connecting us with plumbers and electricians for the jobs we needed to do, and even getting us a great cleaning quote for the house that we are moving to. As first-time buyers previously missing out on properties to cash buyers, we had gone through the motions of dozens of viewings and offers. Very sloppy service from Dexters

Very sloppy service from Dexters. Missing attachments to emails, forgetting to send information, incorrect information was sent.At check-in, they didn't even give us the right keys.... Sloppiness was a constant through the process....The house was very very dirty, despite it should have been professionally cleaned by contract. There was mold, dust, dead insects.... Lots of furniture was broken or not fixed. We are not sure if the landlords were informed at all at this point.Another red flag is that the agents try to lock tenants in very long contracts, a new trend with many companies. They didn't pressure as much as others, but still, they create this constant sense of urgency for the tenants.... then they disappear for days and need constant follow-ups.Do not recommend.
