GoogleI came to armadillo today to store my house items, I dealt with Fiona at reception, she was very knowledgeable and friendly, I understood everything clearly and felt happy knowing my house will be stored at these units. I also spoke to Gaz who made me a lovely coffee while I was waiting. Gaz & Fiona were an absolutely fantastic team, lovely to deal with and a credit to the company.

GoogleWe used armadillo self storage for approximately 11 weeks, whilst moving house. The storage room was a really good size and the facilities were very clean.
The ground up to the entrance of the storage unit is cracked & uneven, which does make it tricky to get to the doors with a trolley. In the last week of storage some scaffolding was put up outside of the entrance/exit, this made pushing trolleys in & out slightly trickier & the scaffolding sat lower than the door. We were not notified about this. Unfortunately, we did snag & damage our mattress storage bag on the scaffolding.
Other than that the storage unit is very good, the first 8 weeks are at a discounted price & the unit is in a very handy location.

GoogleRecently returned to Grimsby to escape an abusive relationship. Had stuff in storage unit in Leeds and needed to empty it and move all stuff to storage unit in Grimsby. Ex partner decided to send my stuff from the house I lived in to a third party who had premises 8 miles away from my storage unit in Leeds which was an extra journey for my children who were emptying the storage unit for me. We worked out that because of distance time was of the essence. Touch and go as to whether we could be back in Grimsby and unloaded by 4pm which was closing time of depot.. Explained my situation to Daley who said I could be granted an extra hour what a godsend. We were back in Grimsby just after 3pm then lots of family members (including grandchildren) gathered at depot to help offload van and put stuff in storage. Hence my five star rating. Excellent customer service thank you so much,

Our need for the storage unit as ended now but have to say it’s been invaluable. You would not believe what you can actually get in one unit! Staff are so helpful, they make everything so easy. Refund of deposit and anything owed only took 2 days. Fantastic!
2nd time we’ve used the storage unit. Fab service again. Used the out of hours service which was really useful and cheap. Fiona is amazing, friendly and accommodating. Happy to recommend again 😀
