greedy agency not believing in someone when they tell them they have 10 years of tenancy in a house, all they want is someone to make a lawyer, doctor or someone working in the house of Parliament salary to rent a property from them, absolutely a disgrace of an estate agent company.

GoogleIf I could rate Winkworth lower, I would. This is all down to the pathetically poor and unprofessional Property Management "service" managed by A H. A H has no grasp of grammar, the English language or customer service and has never attempted to call us once instead preferring to send badly worded emails ignoring the majority of our queries. We had a broken oven for over 3 weeks, blocked sink which keeps on blocking up and had a 'band aid' temporary fix placed on it and the worst part was refusing to replace extractor fans in the flat... and countless more isues that were ignored until we insisted. I believe that A H forgets that she deals with peoples homes, where they expect to feel comfortable and safe and should take a LOT more care in job as her work affects other peoples day to day life. Poor and slow service on getting any repairs done by A H and I would recommend you just avoid Winkworth Greenwich all because of A H. *Pathetic response - the length itself evidences their poor attempt at defending their incompetent property management. Honestly, just avoid Winkworth if you can. It is not worth wasting your time helping this company get their management fees from their unsuspecting landlords.
Dear Rosanna, It is with regret that I read your review and am sorry you feel the Property Management team have not provided a good service. As an agent, although we are responsible for managing the property, ultimately the Landlord is the owner and all repairs must be approved prior to instructing a contractor, which from time to time can cause delays. I have checked our records and note that you emailed on Friday 13th October to report a fault with the oven. Within this report, you mentioned that is was fully functioning but would like someone to inspect it as it was rusty. After receiving a photograph from you, we spoke with the Landlord, arranged a quote for a replacement oven and after his approval we were able to deliver the new appliance to you on 25th October. Unfortunately, we are guided by contractor availability which will determine delivery dates. With regards to the blocked kitchen sink, our contractor had unblocked the sink prior to your moving in, but unfortunately it was more of a stubborn blockage. As the report of the blocked kitchen sink, on Monday 16th October, was more urgent we booked Dyno Rod straight away and they attended the next day to resolve the issue. The other repairs outstanding are the extractor fans. Due to the landlord’s expenditure, he has declined the installation of the new fans until the New Year. The landlord was not refusing to install the new fans, but there will be a slight delay in them being replaced which I understand Amy has explained to previously. We contacted you via email as we were under the impression that could not answer the phone during the working day as you were available to talk until after 5.30pm I am so sorry the tenancy has not started very smoothly as sometimes repairs do not come to light until a tenant is in situ. Guy and Nick in particular were always very helpful and friendly, and clearly had our best interests at heart, which is not always the case with estate agents in my experience. We have felt really pampered throughout the process, and our queries were always met with a smile and a prompt answer. The team did a fantastic job at chasing other agents and solicitors in the chain to move things along for us. We have now exchanged and know we owe it all to the awesome team at Winkworth!

We were kept updated and informed through the process. Guy was always very patient and constantly chasing both parties when necessary. Eventually he helped us to have a completion before April. Once we accepted an offer Guy provided regular updates and helped chase down various parties, removing a lot of stress from what is the trickiest part of selling.
