Avoid this agency if you value your deposit. The end-of-tenancy process was is a nightmare. They submitted a fraudulent invoice as evidence in a TDS deposit dispute. I contacted the company named on the invoice directly and they confirmed in writing they had never attended the property and the invoice number belonged to a completely different property for a job dated 7 months ago. I reported them for fraud.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience renting through Winkworth. When I moved into my new flat, the agent failed to provide me with the gas card/key. I moved here from the US so I did not know that was something that I needed. As a result, my electricity was cut off for almost three days during my very first weekend in the property. I had no light, no heating, and no hot water for close to 72 hours.

GoogleHaving met with a few local agents in Greenwich, I chose Winkworth as I anticipated they were the most likely to sell my property based on their professionalism and market knowledge.
Their photographer Deborah was very thorough and took time to take some great photos of my apartment for the initial marketing.
Once the marketing of my apartment commenced, Gillian was energetic and keen, and always provided advanced notice of viewings, feedback afterwards, and throughout the sales process she was always positive and timely in her communication.
Once I received an offer, the Director Guy helped through the sale process to exchange and completion, which ran like clockwork despite a tight deadline for completion before the government stamp duty increase.
All in all, I had a very positive and pain free experience with Winkworth, and they will be my go-to estate agent in the future when I have another property to sell. Thank-you to all the team!
