The sales side of Dexters is 5 star plus, in my point of view.

As a Landlord whose property Dexters has managed for many years, I am on the whole satisfied. The sales side of Dexters is 5 star plus, in my point of view. Zahra, who I deal with, is early on the case at the end of each tenancy and works flat out to find the best tenant for me. She gives very good advice but also listens to my requirements as a client. What lets Dexters down a little, for me, is its property management team. They operate a sort of pool system, which gives me the feeling that no one is taking personal responsibility. Often when I call the office I find I directed to someone new who I have not spoken to before. Quite often important pieces of information have been left off my file by the previous colleague. In addition, some of the staff seem inexperienced in the maintenance issues which they are handling. It would be good if I was kept updated on who my personal contact was at any point in time.

I have just rented my property out with Peter James Estates (Blackheath) and I have been particularly impressed with Alicia. I have always found Alicia to be professional, efficient, contactable, quick to respond and answer queries, and very good at keeping me updated throughout the process. There were times when I called the office quite late, expecting to leave a voice message, but Alicia answered and was able to answer my query, or called back immediately with a response. Alicia has also gone above and beyond in terms of being involved in the process; visiting the property, picking up on points of detail and making it very clear to me what I needed to do to meet the tenant’s expectations. Blocked stack pipe in Ambrose House=Flooding=sewage everywhere=people becoming homeless=renting experience with Dexters

Dexters are the letting agent and owner of Ambrose House in the new high rise development next to the HS2 in North West London.There is again a problem. This time with the water pipe that carries the waste, this pipe runs from the ground floor all the way up the other 17 floors to the roof. There is somewhere a blockage in this pipe. All that has happened within 1 week is that Dexters sent 2 men from the development company. The men did not find anything and did not fix anything and no repair was done.What will happen now is that the pipe will get completely blocked and hopefully later than sooner, all the sewage will flood the flats. My friend has a friend who works in drainage. He said that the tenants from Dexters should move out quickly asap. The flooding can happen anytime. The tenants from Dexters are helpless. They cannot get my friend's friend in, only the development company can do it and they are known for doing dodgy and bad building work. Perhaps they used the cheapest pipe model?It costs about 5000 Pounds or more to clean such a huge pipe. I supect they want to save this money. This is quite shocking because people will become homeless in winter and will lose their possessions. Imagine a high rise with 150 or 200 flats covered in sewage. That will stink, oh my. The whole building will become permanently uninhabitable.

Avoid dexters in Ealing

I recently had an unfortunate experience with a group of agents from Ealing, and I feel compelled to share my disappointment. I approached them few times with the intention of renting a property, but what followed was a series of disrespectful behaviours that left me frustrated and disheartened.The agents seemed to have no regard for customer service. Instead of assisting me, they bombarded me with an excessive number of questions, seemingly for their amusement or to test my patience. Their approach was not only unprofessional but also disrespectful, as it made me feel like my time and needs were not valued.To make matters worse, they laughed openly during the process, seemingly finding entertainment in my discomfort. It was incredibly disconcerting to be treated in such a mocking manner, especially when I was there as a potential customer seeking assistance. Their behaviour not only undermined the trust I had in their professionalism but also left me feeling humiliated.Instead of easing the purchasing process, the agents intentionally made it difficult for me.
