Doing it right because they have good people

I have always had great service from Conran's. The agent I used to deal with has retired, and I was a bit concerned that her replacement might not be as efficient, capable and friendly as Georgina was. Nothing to worry about, Debbie is fantastic and so going forward I will continue to be in capable hands. There are some truly terrible estate agents out there, thank heavens for Conrans who are showing the others how it should be done.

Antony has been assisting me in my search for my forever home. He has been professional and diligent and has listened to what my requirements are. Because of this I feel understood and that he understood what I was looking for from the get go. I know that if he phones me about a property that it won't be a waste of time going to a viewing. For this reason I would definitely recommend Antony if you are looking for an excellent estate agent to help in your search. Now I just have to be patient and fingers crossed that he will find my forever home!

I have had the absolute pleasure of working with Ben and his team on my current property purchase and I am beyond impressed with the kindness, professionalism and efficiency he puts in his work. My purchase hasn’t been the smoothest of rides, but Ben made it possible and has been incredibly supportive throughout, coming back to me at lightning speed to solve any issues. I cannot recommend him enough, he’s honestly the leading example of what a good estate agent should be. There is only one estate agent in Charlton area you should get to know Conrans. It is that simple. We moved to the area in 2006 and bought our first house through them. In 2014 we sold that house and bought another (through Conrans). Today at the end of 2024 we sold that house having moved out of the country. At every stage of buying, selling and renting out our houses we have been supported by Conrans. If I could give them 10 stars I would. Michael is a local legend. He is the "local bank manager type" who lives in the area, knows everyone, knows every house and has built a fantastic team. Asiah his latest protégé delivered fantastically during our most recent sale. If you have read this far you know what I think. This is the only estate agent for you if you are buying, selling or renting. Thank you very much Team! You rock.

We've been renting with Conran for 2 months now and the service is one of the best. I've rented through different agencies before, had viewings with oh-so-many more and Conran definitely stands out! When Lorraine showed us the property, it was almost a half an hour long viewing and she really took the time to answer all our questions regarding not only the property itself, but also the signing process, referencing, and then the renting itself. We dealt with Ruby as well, who was kindly taking care of us for part of the referencing process. Annie at the reception was great, very patient and lovely each time! Amazingly lovely team overall. Regarding problems fixing around the property, the property management team is great, especially Owain! Everything has been solved pretty quickly. Thanks so much to the whole team, looking forward to the upcoming years :))

Disloyal , Sexist , and to be avoided

I have already written a review about my experience with Conran but it was taken down as it named names. I feel it is my duty as a member the public to bring to attention the things that agents will do in order to gain busiiness. I rented out 2 houses with Conran for a number of years , I was known to them and I alone owned the property. In July this year an ex of over 8 years went into Conrans and asked a senior member of staff to value my house that I currently live in. He I suspect was given a figure that the Ex wanted and duly emailed him a low valuation of my house which he had never been in. I called the agent who is a notorious figure in this area and asked him why he felt he was able to do this . He replied that he thought that the ex owned half of my property. I know that an agent is supposed to carry out due diligence and the first thing they should do is look at a the title deed to see who owns the property.This agent even though he knew me and my contact details were on file did not bother and just saw the pound signs. I also think he is sexist and wonder if I as a woman just wandered in off the street and asked for a valuation of a property with no proof of ownership how he would respond. What this agent has done is caused a lot of problems and damage to me. When I called the office to confront him about his actions he tried to put the phone down on me. What the public needs to know about agents is they need no qualifications to value property and in my experience will say pretty much anything to gain business. You may think they are regulated and have some sort of redress for problems such as these but think again. The property Ombudsman is inundated with complaints about this racket and will do very little to help you. Conran have been disloyal and acted only in they're interests . I have not received an apology all they have done is taken down my last review which was too specific. There top priority is to protect themselves. Make sure before you embark on buying and selling that you have done your research . I cannot recommend this agent as they have acted in such an appalling way and know they can get away with it. I also note that they are happy for names to appear in good reviews , yet another example of double standards. Estate agents of this caliber are no better than used car dealers so beware.
