I recently purchased a house which was being sold by Miles & Barr. From start to finish they were excellent - professional, warm, friendly, helpful. I would especially credit the wonderful Nadine, without whom I honestly don't think the entire thing would have gone through (at least not in the timeline we wanted!!). She was so kind, empathetic and patient throughout, giving my helpful advice and encouragement, and keeping everyone informed, pushing where needed to get things moving, and generally being wonderful. This isn't the experience I've had with a lot of other estate agents, and I cannot thank Nadine and the team enough. I will not hesitate to use them in the future, and recommend them to anyone looking to sell/rent their home!

GoogleGreat experience with Miles & Barr Birchington office re: the sale of our property. Matt in sales was fantastic. He gave us a thorough insight in selling with M & B when he came out to do our valuation, and explained the process fully. We had a viewing within a couple of days and an offer by the end of the week that we saw Matt. Amazing! All of the staff in the Birchington office were very approachable, friendly and helpful. I spoke to Jordan a few times and she was extremely helpful and polite, especially when I was stressed and ranting and she didn't let it phase her and was understanding and dealt with my query. Would also like to mention Ross Ellenor in the compliance team, who was also very helpful and understanding, especially when the process was quite overwhelming at the beginning. There was a lot going on because it was a big move for us as we were moving quite a distance away.
Leo in compliance was also helpful.
M & B also referred us to a solicitors, Whitehead Monckton, and they were fantastic.

Initially when house put on the market, there seemed to be contact and follow up problems (switching over to a new IT system didn’t help). However once IT switch over was finished, then the various offices linked together and worked as one company, it was much improved. The sales people were very pleasant and helpful. Worth an extra mention was the Miles and Barr conveyancer, Louise Daly, who was excellent and kept me updated throughout the sold period and liaised well with my solicitor and my buyer as well as my vender. She was extremely helpful and certainly made a stressful situation and a last minute snag with my buyer, much easier to navigate.

We met both Sophia and also Alice on 25th April to tour Ramsgate and view a range of properties. Really helpful and likeable ladies, with good knowledge of the local area. Really liked that they were both non-salesy (not of the pushing to sell each property), just their honest sharing of the area, the house, and answering all our questions, and promising to get back to us where they couldn't immediately answer. Really enjoyed meeting with them both. Also very punctual, friendly, approachable but professional - nice balance.

Our experience with Miles and Barr was very good. At all points of our house buying experience, the staff were extremely friendly, helpful and professional. However, deserving of special mention is our Sales Progresser Debbie Mead. She was exceptional. If it wasn't for Debbie, and her knowledge, experience and communication skills we are not convinced that we would have reached the completion stage. She pulled all parts of our chain together and was tenacious in getting results when, all others appeared to be struggling to maintain the flow of information. All in all, Miles and Barr provided us with a first rate experience.
