GoogleBrian Thomas are the most unprofessional, disrespectful estate agents I have ever had the displeasure to rent from. Despite knowing how difficult our landlady was and how poor a condition the house was left when we moved in, they offered no support when it came to disputing our deposit when our tenancy ended. After months of ignoring our phone calls, or pretending to be busy when we did get through, eventually they simply brushed the matter off by saying it "wasn't their business" anymore. As a result, we have had to give our former landlady far more money from our deposit than she deserved.
What is worse, despite knowing how awful a landlady she was - and expressing this opinion and their 'disgust' with her behaviour to us in person, they are continuing to advertise her property.
Avoid them at all cost.

GoogleI have never written a review of anything online but I felt it was my responsibility to warn people about Brian Thomas. My 18 year old daughter and her fellow students rented a house from them and they are still waiting, 6 months after moving out, to be repaid their deposit. It's not so much this, but the way the manager has spoken to my daughter and her friends that I find disgraceful. The strange thing is that there is no dispute re the deposit - but he has lied, backtracked, confused things and shouted down the phone.My daughter and her friends are serious, quiet and responsible students. What a shame Brian Thomas has given them such a disgusting first experience of renting in London.

THEY OWE US OUR DEPOSIT!
During our tenancy we asked them countless times to come round and carry out an itinerary, it took over 4mths for someone to come out.. when we asked them for a copy they said they'd lost it... so we got them to come out again... same thing happened... 'it got lost'
It's now been 4mths since we moved out and we're still waiting for the deposit, they're stating that they needed to carry our repairs on the property after we moved out - not sure how they can justify this since no inventory was registered - and they cant produce any statements or invoices. Just a price for repair works that seems like it was picked from thin air.
Chris Lane (who's posted a 5* review below) - wont answer emails, and if he ever does answer the phone you'll never get a straight answer. To say these guys are incompetent is putting it nicely. I have never received such a bad service from any company.
If you have rented from Brian Thomas and your moving out - take photos of everything and good luck!

This tenant left the house owing rent and then denied that they owed any monies. Only recently they accepted the situation. Very disappointing that some people cannot accept responsibility.

GoogleWe have rented from Brian Thomas for 18 months. Not had any problems. Referencing etc was straight forward when we moved in - they are upfront about costs unlike some estate agents. The flat was also clean when we moved in (certainly not a given from past experience!). Any minor problems we've had with the flat have been resolved quickly. Would recommend.
