GoogleVERY POOR EXPERIENCE!! Instructed to sell my property, very lazy and complacent with minimal communication (2 calls in 4 months) minimal marketing (never even put up a for sale board), so called experienced valuer gave one figure then issued contract with a lower one, didn’t seem to know what he was doing and has not been in touch since. Completely wasted our time when we tried to sell, and 4 months later only achieved one viewing which I’m doubtful of! AVOID!!!!!

GoogleI recently made an enquiry on a rental property which was also listed with another letting agent. I made the enquiry asking about pets and Bycroft decided to not only ignore me by not calling back, but lied when they told me that the landlord said no pets allowed. where the other letting agent also called and had spoken to the landlord who said it would be fine with my small dogs.
Bycroft also likes to discriminate against disabled people who just happen to receive disability benefits. Just a simple phone call would have been more professional but they’re content on the practice of ignoring potential renters.
Disingenuous doesn’t even cut it with this company.

Absolutely awful service . I was trying to buy from them and they told me it was sold ! That was a lie, is wasn’t according to the seller who I knew . They didn’t turn up for another appointment that I had booked and when I finally got to view it I asked them to let me know if anyone else puts an offer in - they didn’t - they just sold it so I didn’t get the option to offer myself and I was a cash buyer ! When I rang them to ask about it , they just didn’t care or apologise .
Also tried to sell through them previously and communication was awful , they are soooo lazy and some of the girls just blunt with a bad attitude

GoogleAbsolutely useless! After four years of dealing with them and them not upholding their part of the contract we have left. Now waiting for deposit to be be returned which unfortunately the member of staff dealing with this is now ‘on holiday’ how convenient. Would never in a million years recommend renting through them to anyone. The member of staff we have been dealing with has been rude through this whole experience.

It is disappointing that you have decided to leave a review like this given that throughout the tenancy you made numerous physical changes to the property without the landlords permission which resulted in a breakdown in the relationship between you both. As a result of these changes - which included unauthorised electrical re wiring - your deposit was affected to cover the cost of the repairs the landlord incurred to put things back as they were. We tried our best to act in a fair manner between the Landlord and Tenant in this situation.
