Outstanding service from Libby and Ellie at Tucker Gardner Lettings. I can’t recommend Tucker Gardner Lettings highly enough, particularly Libby and Ellie, who provided truly exceptional service throughout our rental process. From first viewing to moving in took less than two weeks, which felt almost impossible given the current market, but they made it happen. Their knowledge of the process was excellent, communication was clear and prompt, and they liaised efficiently with all parties at every stage to keep everything moving. Both Libby and Ellie struck the perfect balance of being friendly, approachable, and reassuring, while remaining professional and highly organised, both over the phone and in person. Nothing felt like too much trouble, and they were always quick to respond to questions or updates. In a situation that could easily have been stressful, they made the whole experience smooth, positive, and confidence-inspiring. A credit to Tucker Gardner and a great example of how lettings should be done. Highly recommended, and thanks again for everything.

Tucker Gardner were exceptionally professional and friendly in assisting us to rent out our Mum's house. Libby and Ellie were always on hand to answer any questions and to guide us. Libby made herself available by phone and email to ensure the entire process ran smoothly. Tenants were in the house within 6 weeks of the property being marketed! I would not hesitate recommending the Letting team led by Zita.

As regards Lettings, I found both Zita Goldie and Victoria Lilley, whom I dealt with most recently, very helpful and effective. With regard to Property Management, however, I am less pleased of late. While Sally Munday and then Heather Wood were in charge, my experience was wholly positive, true 5-star service, but since Heather moved to another department there has been a constant change of Property Managers which is, to say the least, disconcerting. To add insult to injury, management fees have gone up and the services offered reduced. As my association with TuckerGardener goes back a long way, I can only hope this is a temporary blip.

When I moved in originally I gave a 5* review. Once they had my money they stopped communicating, wouldn’t do the things they said they would, passed blame around and never took accountability, did not follow their own policies when it came to repairs. It got to the point where we had to threaten legal action if they did not get the repairs done. Our landlord failed to provide enough keys and so we were told we had to pay to make copies ourselves. We had many issues with the property and Tucker Gardner was no help. They lied to us prior to signing the lease and went back on promises they had made. It has been over a month since we moved out and we still have not received our deposit. Communication is terrible at Tucker Gardner. I am truly disappointed that what started out as a great relationship quickly turned sour. Our landlord also had his own struggles with them not providing the services he was paying for. Don’t work with TG Lettings, they’re dishonest and they don’t care once they have your money.

We had an amazing experience with Tucker Gardner. We were able to move in just eight days after our viewing, which still feels incredible! We only had a week left at our previous place and had already lost more than 20 days with another agency, so their speed and support meant the world to us. Even when our referencing hit a bump, because I had recently changed jobs, the team handled everything so efficiently and kept us reassured throughout the process. A special shout-out to Libby, an absolute superstar. She went above and beyond for us and truly made the whole experience stress-free. You won’t find anyone better! Huge thanks as well to Zita and Ellie for their support and professionalism. We’re so grateful for all the help and couldn’t be happier with the service we received. Highly recommend! Tucker Gardener have been our lettings agent for a couple of years now and they have been nothing but trouble. Our account manager kept changing and no handovers ever seemed to have been done. Our tenant reported a broken toilet seat, among other issues, and none of there were ever fixed. Emails were not responded to and when we escalated to management we received rude and curt responses. Tucker Gardner seemed to just want to hold the keys and would always ask us to "pop over" and let the workmen in, or meet the tenant and hand them the keys. We never received an inspection report nor did the tenant so we have no idea if certain damage existed before they move in or not. They have been dire and its been more effort using Tucker Gardner that doing it ourselves, what a waste of money. Maybe other branches are different but I would avoid this branch completely.....and we STILL don't have the key back for our property.

Tucker Gardner are simply the best in Cambridge. I am a young medical doctor who came into the UK barely two months ago and started searching for a big property because I wanted to bring family into the UK. Tucker Gardner made it a very seamless process for me. Harry was particularly helpful as I had to cancel two of our previously arranged viewings(due to my busy schedule) and he graciously sent me video tours on both occasions. I have a feeling that I even stressed them a little more than usual because I had a lot of boxes to tick for my ideal property so there were so many of their properties I initially liked and then let go again in the middle of the process because of distance to my place of work. But they remained calm through it all. There's a female voice( can't remember her name now)who kept talking me through the process throughout. Thank you Liam for the free ride after one of our viewings. I have a place to call home now because of Tucker Gardner. 👏👏

EDIT from 5 star to 1 star. Avoid. After previously being happy with the service (see below) with regards to referencing and getting the property let to myself, I have been left overwhelmingly disappointed by the service once we have become tenants. Multiple problems, including mould (which is a health concern), leaks and ceiling damage, not being tended to fast enough despite living here for 2 months. Constant calls and emails, no evidence of progress after 2 months of collecting our money. Fast to get you renting, not so fast to help you once in. I am a landlord of a property elsewhere and know how much money the companies take from the rent that is due, if any landlord is reading this, you are unlikely to have happy tenants by using this company. prospective tenants, avoid. I leave the previous 5 star review as i feel it is a disservice to jessica who was helpful with her role at the company at the start, and as proof I am more than willing to give 5 stars when it is due, not just one to come here and complain. Jessica Black at Tucker Gardner, and the rest of the team, have been really fantastic with helping us relocate. We had quite a few challenges along the way, including navigating UK visa/immigration services, and they helped us with it all. Nothing was ever a problem, their responses were fast, efficient and friendly. Overall, we are really happy with their service and would like to thank Jessica very much for all her work so far on what is a very important life change for us in moving home.

I moved house following the end of a relationship and changed from being a homeowner to rented. I haven't been a tenant for decades and the rental market I remembered, was very unpleasant, so I was really worried about starting again.
