I really cannot recommend this agency highly enough. My agent, Matthew Cheeseman has been dealing with my sale over the past 6 months. I have found His work ethic of a very high standard to beat. I have been acquainted with Owen Lyons (Grays) for well over a decade, however this was my first experience selling with them. I’m pleased to say dealing with them was every bit as pleasant as it was when I was a buyer. my sales advisors Matt and Harry were friendly, efficient and professional throughout and they have both the intricate knowledge of the local property market and the experience needed to carefully find the right buyer - which helped me achieve a sale quickly with a good price and a good buyer. With so many things that can go pear shaped during a property sale these days (and indeed we had our hiccups along the way), a safe pair of hands is what’s needed to guide it along smoothly, which is why I would have no problem recommending Owen Lyons for RM16/17 areas.

Many thanks to Matt at Owen Lyon’s who assisted with my first property purchase. I mainly dealt with Matt, Harry & on one occasion Colin. I had a good experience. They were easily accessible by phone or email and would ensure my queries were answered. Matt went the extra mile to explain the process to me in detail of what I should expect. There were moments where it felt quite pressured close to completion but this was out of their control. This was my first experience with an estate agent and I believe it went very well. Matt reassured me throughout and kept me up to date. I was expecting some form of congratulatory gift from them but just a set of keys in an envelope haha! After completion, their admin team still kindly answered some of the queries until they subtly asked me to stop emailing lol, but very appreciative! I would definitely recommend them.

The setup and service from this letting agent is very disappointing. They demand potential tenants to fill in long lengthy forms with you providing your passport and other confidential documents which should not be required unless proceeding with referencing. Only to then be told that they aren’t able to offer you a viewing clearly discriminating people with who they decide to give a viewing to i wouldn’t waste my time with this agency

I started off renting a property through owen lyons then eventually bought my first property through them. Firstly Brooke on the rental team is worth her weight in gold! She's lovely, helpful and very understanding, nothing is too much for her. Moving on from the rental side to the sales side I dealt with Matt, he was also very kind helpful and extremely knowledgeable. They're probably a good company if you're buying a house or if you're a landlord with a property to let. However, as a tenant you have minimal support. Anything the landlord says goes, even if the property is not in good condition. If the landlord refuses to fix something, it will not be fixed and they will have the backing of the agency. This is a heads up to future tenants of what to expect if you rent a property with this agency.

Purchased my first property via Owen Lyons and I couldn’t be more happy with the service. I mainly dealt with Matt & Harry and had a great experience. If Matt wasn’t in or available to take a call he would always get back to me without fail, Harry would also relay messages across to him and ensure I get any query answered. Matt would keep me updated throughout the process off his own back. I never once chased for an update, but was updated throughout with random phone calls to see how the process is going and to relay any information he’s received. Matt also explained the process to me of how it works in detail and what I should expect. There was never any dream selling and he was honest throughout regarding timescales. Having never dealt with an estate agent when it comes to buying a property I honestly feel it’s been a great experience and Matt really made me feel reassured throughout and I would happily recommend them.
