Our experience with this estate agency was mixed. On the positive side, the team was always polite and friendly, and the photos and initial marketing of the property were done very professionally, we were really happy with how the flat was presented. However, the overall process took nearly a year, beginning with the first buyer pulling out. As time went on, we found communication to be quite lacking. We often had to follow up ourselves for updates, and it seemed that contact with the buyer was only made after we’d asked for progress. This left us feeling somewhat forgotten during what was already a stressful time. We also noticed a repeated emphasis on how difficult flats are to sell, which, while possibly true, made us feel discouraged and as though the agency wasn’t fully on our side. When the property went back on the market, we felt we were encouraged to accept an offer £5,000 below asking price quite quickly, even though it hadn’t been relisted for very long. We appreciate the challenges involved in property sales and the team’s friendly manner, but we do feel that clearer, more proactive communication and a stronger sense of support would have made a big difference.

Cannot praise Ron and his team enough. Right from the start they were professional and incredibly responsive to any questions, concerns and information regarding viewings. My sale and subsequent purchase of a property was dealt with efficiently, and had it not been for Ron I would still be waiting for the exchange to take place. When other estate agents were deliberately ignoring emails and being totally unprofessional Ron was the one who made phonecalls when it wasn't necessarily his responsibility to do so and elevated the stress we were under due to other estate agents. I cannot recommend Lennard and Hill highly enough. Having successfully completed a sale with Lennard & Hill, I couldn’t recommend the team more. They went over and above their role to help me, great communication and just down to earth people. Especially in this climate, the house sell was through probate and with the global pandemic nothing phased them to get their job done smoothly. I met with Ron safely and distanced and he explained everything relating to a sale and had a leaflet pack to help with information and figures and guided me through offers etc. I spoke to Joe frequently and he was always friendly and helpful with any queries that arose.
