Wouldn’t recommend in any circumstance. Me and my partner had a viewing for a property on Jan 25, to be told at 9am two days before that the viewing was not happening due to my partners medical condition, which they knew about when we viewed the first 2 properties. They have discriminated against someone with a medical condition even after showing them around multiple properties before hand.

I found a rental property online and…

I found a rental property online and asked for a viewing. The property was located over 100 miles from my residence and as a consequence of this the employee said that they had a recent video of the property, she sent it to me and it looked amazing so I put in an offer. Contracts were exchanged and then on the day of moving the agency contacted me to inform me that the cooker had been condemned and had to be removed from the property and that the landlord was now refusing to buy a cooker and that they were not required to provide one. As you can appreciate at this stage I was very upset, however the agents said they would get back to the landlord to see if she would change her mind. The contracts had already been exchanged and the landlord was refusing to honour her side of the agreement on the moving day when the arrangements had been made and I had moved out of my current home. I would not use this company at all they have no common decency and to add salt to the wound I have to take them to court to get my money back for the E first months rent and deposit because they think that I should be held to the fixed term contract and be liable for paying the rent nevertheless! Do not trust this company!!!

Do not use this estate agent. They did not act in our interest and quite openly attempted to bully us into selling our property at well under the market value. We had a ridiculous offer, which they just expected us to take. Zero effort made to push the property after the offer.

Grantham Branch they recommended Premier Property Lawyers to me, for this they get 1 star it has been without doubt the worst experience of my life dealing with this company and as William H Brown recommended they they can bask in the reflected glory of a job done so badly, PPL without doubt have provided the worst service I have ever received in my whole life and whilst the team at the Grantham branch may do a good job and chase they are only as good as the recommendations that they make, and if the company ignores the estate agent then they is no reason to chase, so unfortunately they get a one star for the recommendation alone and the fact i have completed with PPL last week and now they have failed to pay off my mortgage correctly please check PPL on trust pilot and find my 5 star review for the worst service in your life if you want a 5 star bad use PPL as recommended to me by William H Brown

I am really pleased with the service I have received so far from William H Bro Estate Agents in Grantham. Everyone in the team is so helpful and very proactive dealing with customer issues. I was looking for an specific person to discuss but I always get someone to help me or get similar help from proxy in absence of someone. So that I am not waiting I person I am looking for. They will ensure that my queries is dealt efficiently and effectively. They are passionate to listen customer problem and find out a best possible option to solve the problem. I just wanted to say I have had a great experience with William H Brown , they set up viewings very quickly and had an app to update etc. my main reason for this review is due to the encounter we had with Amanda - ( manager). She showed us around the viewing with such enthusiasm, she explained everything clearly & got to know us within a brief time & started to adapt the home to our needs. Unfortunately the home was too small for us, but she had a few that she thought would be relevant for our needs. Amanda is so good at what she does, she could literally sell sand to the Arabs. She explained areas well and discussed our needs of the amazing grammar schools around. She lives in the area and knows it like the back of her hand. I would not hesitate to buy or sell from William H Brown as long as I get this same experience as I just received with Amanda. Thank you for the amazing experience.

She contacted us quickly when houses she thought we would like came on to the market, and she went out of her way to get us viewings in a timely manner. I do not have words for this level of unprofessionalism and incomptence

Just poor on every level. Communciation has been abysmal from the start. I feel I have been lied to on several occasions and it is clear most members of staff don't give a damn. Avoid I have the great displeasure having to deal with these people over the last fortnight regarding a property I want to rent. There have been issues right off the bat, including an agent called George not turning up to a viewing because he forgot and it taking four days and six phonecalls for me to be told that no-one in the office I was calling was going to call me back and I needed to call elsewhere. No apologies offered at all. It got worse when I put in an offer on a property though. When I put in my offer I was asked some questions and these identified I would need someone to guarantee my lease. That's fine, I'd anticipated that and my parents were willing to do this for me. I dealt with an agent called Sam who called them before putting in my offer to ensure they would meet the criteria for a guarantor. At this point, or at any point during the process, Sam never gave any indication that they did not. This only came to light approximately a week before I was due to move in (my parents are semi retired and generate a portion of their income through investment property and the stock market. This was apparently unacceptable for a guarantor. Which would have been fine, if Sam had told them that from the start). We found a solution, where my parents would pay my first six months rent and I'd then rent from the landlord. I had to chase (approximately four phone calls) to get this answer from him and even then, I had send him back to renegotiate as he had not done this properly (he attempted to agree a six month lease when both me and the landlady wanted something longer). When putting in my offer, I had agreed to go into a zero deposit scheme and paid £250 in order to do this. The issue with the gaurantee also took my out of this scheme, although this was never communicated to me at all. If I had known, then I would have reconsidered my position. Because Sam did not mention the problem when it arose, I was not afforded this opportunity. The only warning I had that extra money was needed, came to light when the invoice arrived and they had stuck an additional £1200 onto the fees. The only possible inkling we had about this was a phone call from Sam about 20 minutes before the invoice was sent, which lasted for all of 30 seconds and briefly mentioned a deposit. Something that I thought had already been paid and had no reason to suspect otherwise. I want to be clear here, the fact I failed the checks is not the problem (I'm a recent university graduate moving from part time to full time work and separating from my partner. I'm not naive to the fact I do not look good on paper). The lack of communication and the lack of care from Sam and his director, Rachel is. They prevented me from making a decision with the full facts. I have been left feeling utterly lied to and like I have no choice but to find an additional insane amount of money or leave me and my children homeless. Salt was further rubbed into the wound as when I called Rachel to discuss this, she sadly decided to double down on the lie that Sam had discussed this deposit with me and implied I was making it up. I have emails to confirm this deposit was never mentioned. No apologies were forthcoming, just a shoulder shrug and an offer to refund my holding deposit as well as a sly comment that it's a landlord's market right now, which is just further confirmation of how little they value potential tenants. No property is worth having to deal with these people.

Do not use William H Brown they are the worst agent any one could get they never return your calls no good advice at all you do not hear from them at all and if you do there advice is totally wrong there staff are badly trained and give the wrong advice. I nearly lost my removal company on there advice which was totally wrong,but the removal company which is Relocate were brilliant and brought in an extra van on the day.the only good advice and updates were from the agent I was buying from Chris Deller they were excellent I could go on for hours but will not SO PLEASE DO NOT USE WILLIAM H BROWN if you do God help you
