Never rent a property through this company. It was the worst experience.

Renting from this company was the worse experience I have ever had. They charged £3k per month to rent a 3 bed 3 bath bungalow. Only 1 bathroom worked. They would not decrease the rent. We had no water to wash with for two weeks in 35c weather. Then we had ten minutes of water to wash before we had to wait for the tank to refill and heat up again because it was too small. The drains were blocked - there was a terrible smell and maggots in the toilets - but they wouldn’t send round people with a camera. The place was disgustingly dirty. Somebody had taken the front door key from the key safe on day 1 of the rental and they would not give us the key or change the locks. There was supposed to be a gardener - none ever came. Lots of furniture was broken when we arrived. It was not removed. There was supposed to be a tumble dryer - it was so old it was classed as a fire hazard and we were told not to use it. Washing machine broke twice. No battery charger for electric blinds therefore they didn’t work. And just to top it off we can’t get our deposit back. Disgusting company, revolting landlord. Never ever use them.

I had a phenomenal experience with this agency. I had been looking high and low for a property within my budget that allowed pets and was really struggling. Lewis and Jade were both wonderful in helping me find the perfect place. Jade went out of her way to call me about a potential property that checked my boxes, she got me in for a viewing the next day, and walked me through the application process that same day. Incredible Staff!

Myself and my partner are first time buyers looking for our first property. This is been such an exciting process, and the lovely Mia from Redhill's Gascoigne-Pees has made it even more wonderful. From the moment I first called in to book viewings, her sparkling friendly personality has shone through and she shared in our excitement to be looking for our dream home. Obviously it is quite a big decision and a large commitment, so we are so appreciative of the time Mia took to get to know what we wanted, what we were avoiding and what about the properties we picked that made us choose them. That meant that she was able to suggest some others that we hadn't come across, in the same area, for the same price range and with the same general feel as the others. This meant that our top 3 properties are now all ones held with GP! This has been great, since we know that whatever property we end up going with, we're going to have Mia's fantastic support behind us. I am so impressed by her ability to show off the best bits of the properties whilst explaining things so clearly. I truly trust that she has our best interests in mind and is just as psyched to look for our first property as we are! She is an absolute credit to the business, and I am looking forward to working with her to get the keys to our new home.

Harassment, Alarm & Distress Caused - Spamming Cowboys

I went through Get Agent which was my first big mistake… they gave my details to Gascoigne Pees who called me within minutes. I explained that I wasn’t looking at a valuation or selling my house for at least 3-6 months and to ‘stand down’… I’ve been called every day or every other day since, and when I don’t answer the phone, they don’t leave a message and when you call back it doesn’t go through to the branch only to the head office. I asked my details to be removed from their system but I’ve still had daily calls from them, even when on the phone to their head office to make a complaint, I was called again by their branch. I have since had 4 spam calls from other estate agents with details sent to GetAgent with my phone number and a fake email address that Get Agent are tracing using the IP address from the fake email due to a breaking of GDPR rules. Yet to be proven but seems a coincidence that after having an argument with someone at Gascoigne Pees about harassment and spam calls from them, that my details have been sent out to estate agents in Coventry, Stoke-On-Trent, Nottingham and Leeds… Would never sell my house through GP and trust them with any personal details..

Being a serial mover and having experienced many estate agents (around 20) over the years, I was pleasantly surprised by the service I received from Alfie, Will and the team at the Godalming Branch. I only approached these agents as they sold another house in the same road and previously I didn't think that they were suitable for selling my price bracket property (over 1 million) as I had associated them with lower price brackets. I was wrong! I received a superb service, very reliable, not too pushy, extremely informative and a very friendly team. They listened to everything I wanted from write ups to photos and how I wanted the open day. Whilst they made helpful suggestions. Having many offers at the asking price and over, they dealt with the sale very smoothly. There were challenges like the elderly foreign buyers ensuring their funds were in the country and explaining how technology works to them. Alfie worked tirelessly to solve the various issues ensuring that both I and our buyers are very happy with the service that we both received. I DEFINATELY RECOMMEND this estate agents and will be using them again in the future.
