GoogleHighly recommended. Professional, friendly, proactive, and always available at the end of a phone or email. Throughout the sales process they were unfailingly patient and helpful, especially Matthew Wasley, who made himself available by phone or text at pretty much all hours of the day, and put up with my endless requests for progress reports. I have used a number of estate agents over the years, and Murdock & Wasley have been by far the best.

We had the pleasure of meeting different team members during viewings, with Matt and Tiffany being especially helpful throughout. Once our offer was accepted, Laura took over and was fantastic. She kept us well-informed every step of the way, answered all our questions promptly, and was genuinely lovely to deal with. A huge thank you to the whole team for making the process so easy and stress-free!

GoogleI had an outstanding experience with Murdock and Wasley from start to finish. Matt and the team were brilliant, always quick to respond, professional, and genuinely supportive throughout the whole process. When the first sale fell through, Matt stepped straight in and had the property sold again within a few days, which was amazing. The service felt personal and efficient from beginning to end. GoogleAs first time buyers, our experience with Murdock & Wasley was incredibly stressful and disappointing from start to finish. We were told the property was chain free, only to discover on the day we were due to hand in our rental notice that it was actually part of a complex five party chain. Communication was a constant struggle. Crucial updates were missed, and we felt there was a one sided relationship where we were chased for details but received little information about the wider chain. The most unprofessional moment was when private messages were forwarded to the sellers to pressure us into dropping repair requests. Even on our completion day, the experience was cold. Both directors were in the room but turned their backs with no acknowledgement or congratulations. We found the level of service to be completely unacceptable.

GoogleWe purchased our house through M&W and the process was managed by Laura who couldn’t have been more helpful through the process. Her constant communication kept all the chain up to date and she handled some challenging solicitor issues throughout. Although we didn't sell our house through M&W, we would use them in the future providing Laura was still there to support us through the process.

GoogleWe sold our house through M&W and couldn’t recommend them enough. Laura was amazing from start to finish, her patience, support and clear communication made such a difference. Checking in with us outside of work hours to keep us updated really took the pressure off and gave us peace of mind. Nothing was ever too much trouble and she was a pleasure to deal with. We also dealt with Matt and Luke, they were really good at chasing things and keeping us updated as well. Along with the rest of the team, they were proactive, friendly and genuinely cared. When things became a little tricky towards the end, they provided incredible support to keep everything moving smoothly and we’re so grateful for their kindness and generosity! Thank you again to everyone involved, we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you to anyone buying or selling in Gloucestershire in the future!

GoogleMatt Wasley sold our house in GL1. Matt gave us a solid idea of price, took good pictures, got good offers & sold the house quickly. Matt stayed in contact throughout the sale keeping delays to a minimum. I would highly recommend Matt and his team. They are excellent. He is also a really nice person - easy to work with. No silly estate agent bullshit. Highly recommend.

GoogleAll I can say is DON’T buy with Murdock and Wasley, they were just terrible when I was buying a property through them. They were always phoning me asking what was going on with the sale when my solicitor was dealing with everything. They just kept badgering me to the point that they were saying that the property was going back on the market.This happened at least three times, Tiffany was the person who showed me around the property l had asked her to find out details on the property for me because she didn’t know the answers. These were quite simple questions that I had to ask her several times for the answers ie where are the keys to the garage, was the property on a water meter which she said no it wasn’t but since I have brought the property It has turned out that it was. She couldn’t get simple things right, whenever she was showing me around she would roll her eyes and keep looking at the time. I do understand that they have to take instructions off the seller but, but to tell me the seller was difficult and not easy to work with I think is very unprofessional. I did buy the property in the end I can only say that it was a nightmare, even when I went to collect the keys from them when I walked in Tiffany said this is Jane in a smug way. I told one of the owners what a nightmare I had been he was very smug too shrugged his shoulders as If he wasn’t bothered. He didn’t even ask me what the problems were. I would NEVER sell or buy using this estate agent again.

GoogleMatt Wasley was brilliant for us in what was a complicated and long process. Kept in contact with us the whole time and helped us chase solicitors etc. He couldn’t have done more for us. While viewings were being done they worked around us and would even come out to update pictures to help sale on sunny days. Nothing was to much to ask and I would definitely recommend

GoogleI found Murdock & Wasley to be unprofessional and dismissive throughout our first home purchase. They were far too pushy regarding solicitor-led documentation and showed a lack of empathy when we raised legitimate concerns about the property. The service on the day we collected our keys was cold and unwelcoming. For a process that should be exciting, they made it unnecessarily stressful!

Myself and my partner have just bought our first house and they made the process so much easier, to viewing the house with Owen who was knowledgeable and friendly and to Matt for the buying process who has been so helpful. GoogleMy family and friends had a terribly experienced with this agency. I've also had other friends tell me about the agencies wrong doings and how the partner Matt caused the house sale to fall through or gave the buyers incorrect information. I'm planning on settling my house and yes their low commission is great but not with the hassle.

GoogleCouldn’t recommend Murdock and Wasley more, Matt has been absolutely amazing from start to finish and made the whole process of selling so much less stressful then it could’ve been. Pictures were taken and listing posted within a matter of days of wanting to sell, and were taken so professionally. M&W kept in constant communication with me to keep me updated on everything from viewings to providing feedback. Everyone was so helpful, professional and proactive. I would highly recommend and will use them again in the future.
