Highly recommended an estate agent who managed to secure a nice property for my family. Very professional and honest. We had a bad experience with other estate agents in the area as they acted like auctions. And I am personally thanking Bobbie Caller (Bob) she helps us big time to make the letting process smooth and easy.

I rented a property out on a Let only basis through Andrews that I had to abandon 5 months into the tenancy as it was infested with vermin, had a broken boiler, was riddled with mould, damp, dodgy wiring with loose connections throught, blocked drains and more. Was shown round in the dark because they were too cheap to put £1 on the electric meter so couldn't see any of the problems, including the pizza menus taped to the side of the toilet (seriously), the agent gave me lots of wrong information about the place and they insisted I needed a guarantor as my job was a contract. This cost £150 on top of the £300 in agency fees.Upon leaving the property I rang to complain that they had not carried out basic safety checks or done due dilligence on the landlord and spent half an hour arguing with an utterly vile woman who accused me of not knowing what I was talking about, insisted that none of this was their responsibility, that they had done everything that was legally required of them and that she "was not going to spend any more time on this childish conversation" She lied over and over again, claiming that the rat wasn't there when I moved in (according to the landlord there had been several issues with rodents previously), said that they wouldn't ask a potential landlord if there had ever been rats in the property (again, seriously) and when I asked what exactly were the safety checks they had carried out was told "I'm not going to regurgitate them to you."I have never experienced such abysmal customer service in my life and hope to never again. The woman was so rude, contemptuous and nasty that I was shaking at the end of the phone call after giving up in frustration and despair. Utterly despicable company staffed with incompetent, lying crooks who deserve to have their offices shut down and boarded up.

Shayla Willis helped me and my housemates find the perfect house, she always responded to any contact quickly and gave us so many options until we found the right place, we're very grateful for how professional she was and how easy she made the process! As a landlord I would not recommend this letting agent. They have a competitive percentage, but you do not much in return other than poorly worded. On numerous occasions we had to chase the letting agent to get tasks completed. Things would be completed without our knowledge. On numerous occasions they undertook inspections and charged us when we had not asked for this and it took numerous emails to ensure we were refunded. I believe they employ such "mistake" tactics on purpose to exploit landlords who do not check what they are being charged for. I wouldn't be surprised if they do this to tenants as well. They also charge a large amount for renewing contracts and explain that it is part of the lawyer fees required to ensure our protection. They also tried to charge for marketing fees when it was the previous tenants simply renewing the contract to stay another year. Again this was put down to some miscommunication between the departments....They will undertake actions and then patronise you when it seems like this is not what you wanted to happen; saying it was in the terms of business or sorry this is what we always do. I could write more and more of the annoying and incompetent things they have done, but I think you can see my frustrations! I cannot recommend highly enough not using this company, but maybe they are best of a bad bunch!

Tony worked hard and showed a lot of persistence to get our sale done. He gave us a valuation that surprised me, never thought the house could be worth that much, and he got it sold for that much - despite the markets taking a tumble shortly afterwards (the Liz Truss debacle). Very satisfied with Andrews and with Tony in particular.

GoogleThis is very serious concern, People please be aware of Andrews Letting agent. You will feel very much unsecured in the rooms rented from Andrews. You will never get any update or information if someone will come to ur flat for any requirement. Anyone can ring your door bell at anytime without giving you proper notice. Also you will never get any update regarding any problem you report, also they don't wants to listen any type of complain . They don't allow you to revisit the office with any type of complain and forcefully make yourself out from the office. They don't value tenant's time , money and words, i must say they are hear to cheat the people. I am sharing my personal views . to you people. So think 100 times before going with Andrews.

GoogleWe used Andrews Gloucester to sell our home and they were fab! We chose them because when we visited the office they were friendly and welcoming - the kind of experience we wanted our potential buyer to have when dealing with our agent. Lucy and Peter we’re both great, very knowledgeable and helpful. They were always on the end of the phone when we needed them and very reassuring about parts of the process we were worried about/didn’t understand. Their rates were fair and their sales style was never too pushy but always effective - we had lots and lots of viewings and had a full asking price offer within 2 weeks! We would definitely use them again and 100% recommend them. Thanks guys!

Extremely poor agents with a voracious and insatiable appetite for extracting every possible penny from their unfortunate tenants. Their website, comically, makes boasts about their ethical credentials, but the reality is very different. Repeated requests for the return of the part of our deposit held in excess of the new government maximum were roundly ignored, until eventually after much persistence a brief and high-handed note was received stating they were not legally obliged to do so. Not legally obliged no, but morally and honourably obliged surely.They've had more than 10 years of unearned interest from our deposit and you'd think that'd be sufficient for them. But instead they rely on the absolute letter of the law to squeeze their poor tenants as hard as they possibly can.A shameful and immoral company. Avoid if you possibly can.
