GoogleAppalling service. Cheating landlords, lying to tenants, maximising profit by screwing both sides. Disgraceful. On a dozen occasions have taken weeks to resolve simple issues. Have misrepresented problems to both parties as the other's fault to cover for their own incompetence. Never get supportive service nor an honest answer. Disdainful to tenants, offensive to landlords. Repair quotes to landlords come back inflated by 250% vs market costs. Then tenants never receive important repairs landlords have authorised. I've dealt with a dozen plus agents over 20 years and this company is the worst by far. So awful it should (might be?) criminal.

GoogleAfter viewing a property, the agent said she would immediately cancel all other viewings and remove the property from online websites. All relevant information that was asked for was sent to them the same day. We were led to believe the property was ours under false pretences. We then had to wait a MONTH with absolutely NO response or communication whatsoever as to whether we had been accepted or not. Over SEVEN phone calls and two visits into the branch over a three week period and the response from the agents was to be quite frank, absolutely pathetic. They had no concern at all at the fact that we would be homeless within a week due to other tenancy agreements ending and they made absolutely no effort to contact the relevant third company to get the answers we needed. We found the third parties contact details online and contacted them to have the answer that we weren't accepted within 30 minutes. Not a particularly difficult job, that the estate agents at Andrews were clearly mentally insufficient enough to handle themselves. Absolutely abysmal excuse for an estate agents leaving three people basically homeless due to a basic lack of care, no efficiency whatsoever and horrendous customer service. It was made very clear that the commission for rentals must be basically nothing because we were treated as such.NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism

GoogleUsed Andrews Gloucester to secure a house for my second year of university, everyone we delt with was very polite, helpful and communicated amazingly. Shayla Willis assisted us in finding our house, she gave us lots of options, especially after our first house fell through. She was wonderful, very easy to communicate with and felt that we could ask any questions and not feel like a nuisance! She made the experience easy and as stress-free as she could, overall very happy.

GoogleHaving purchased through Andrews sales I placed my property with their letting team to advertise for tenants (small HMO). I was not disappointed, as firm proposals were almost immediately returned upon the advert ‘going live’ and many months in advance on both occasions since (which given current restrictions on access to occupied homes for viewings lately, and this being a previously untested process, I found commendable). Once again commitment to secure for the next intake was very quickly returned by the first group to view, (and again months in advance), meanwhile Communication through office has been effective, promptly returned on most occasions, and timely, reliable, and communication on scheduling of necessary certification and checks has progressed seamlessly. Despite a frenetic time of year at best of times, management at Andrews letting has proved both exemplary in communication returned by email and easy to to contact by phone throughout this experience. Thanks Andrews, keep up the good work!

GoogleShayla and Shannon have been professional, polite and efficient throughout my recent dealings with her. Having informed Andrews that the property was available for rent, it was live and viewings were booked within hours. The property was let within 1 working day. Since then their communication and efficiency have been great making my job much easier. I haven't had to chase anything as both Shayla and Shannon have kept me up to date the whole time. Keli showed me one flat which I didn’t end up buying but I was struck by her knowledge of the market- Keli doesn’t dish out usual cliches which is refreshing and she understands property. I’d certainly go back to her to buy or sell a home. I’ve been an investor for a long time and, for me, she stands out as straightforward and efficient.

Beware of using Andrew's to buy/sell!Due to the poor standard of service and lack of communication we were not told of 2 unresolved boundary disputes that affected the sale of a property we had made an offer on. This caused a delay of nearly 7 months before we were forced to withdraw from the purchase due to the behaviour of Andrew's staff and management as well as the sellers attitude as they were constantly told it was not an issue by andrews. Andrew's later admitted to being aware of the boundary disputes when the property had been originally listed.You cannot complete and have the deeds transferred to your name or even get a mortgage on a property with unresolved boundary disputes - Andrew's you should know better! Being repeatedly lied to is not an appropriate form of service! We would not have proceeded to order surveys and searches and instruct solicitors had we known when we made our offer. This entire debacle has cost us nearly £1k in fees. We were offered a mere £250 as compensation for 7 wasted months and £1k of wasted money. We were constantly told it was not an issue and it was repeatedly minimised which dragged the process out.Despite making a complaint to management and escalating through the complaints process to head office we have had no appropriate resolution.

GoogleSarah Robinson who is my propery manager is very good at her job. She keeps me informed about any issues with my properties. When there is maintainance to do updates me as to the progress with quotes and when the job is finished. She is also very approachable when I have any queries to find the answer for me if she does not know herself. She is a credit to the company :-)

I have found Andrews extremely difficult to deal with from the start of my tenancy to the end. I am in a joint tenancy and Andrews put all of the onus on the members of the household to find new tenants and organise new contracts without taking any responsibility for themselves. I joined as an individual, with another individual dropping out before i signed the contract. Andrews immediately tried to charge me their rent as well which i refused (i hadnt signed the contract) and was only resolved when the landlord got involved.As i am leaving the property, Andrews are retaining the same contract but changing the name of the tenants and i have had to state a number of times that my joint tenancy ends on my leaving date and i have no responsibility for their future tenant agreements. I would avoid using Andrews if at all possible in future as they try to force all responsibility for changing of tenancys onto the incumbent residents.
