FacebookStepping Stones have been amazing through the whole process of selling our previous house and purchasing our new home! The supportive, friendly staff made everything so much easier and were on hand to do some chasing of those pesky solicitors!! I never want to move again but if I do I would certainly use Stepping Stones!!

GoogleDuring the course of my life, I've bought and sold a number of houses and I have to say that Stepping Stones are probably the best agent I've used, ever. Their professionalism is without doubt, their tenacity astonishing and particularly at the end of the sale towards exchange they were "on it" chasing solicitors and other agents to get the job done and finished. The whole team played a major part, never once did I feel we were being pushed onto someone else and special thanks to Debra, whose persistence to get the exchange done and dusted was quite astonishing. Thank you guys - you were all quite exceptional and displayed superb team playing skills. I would have not a moment's hesitation in highly recommending you.

GoogleWe bought our home via Stepping Stones. Rebekah was extremely helpful and on the ball when we came to view some properties: after our booked viewings she showed us a house that had just come on the market, but wasn't on the website yet, and we fell in love with it straight away. Since we had to be in the area quite quickly, Stepping Stones secured us a short term rental for two months, until the sale was completed. They could not have been more helpful and efficient during the whole process, negotiating with all the solicitors higher up in the chain. Absolutely brilliant, Rebekah and the entire team!

GoogleWe bought our first house through Stepping Stones in the first half of 2024. From start to finish, they were compassionate, patient and understanding, something we really valued as first-time buyers. When we moved in, they gave us a housewarming gift box which I thought was really touching, and was indicative of their care for us throughout the home-buying process. We will definitely be considering using them as our estate agent if we ever decide to sell our house!!

FacebookThe team at Stepping Stones were very knowledgeable, friendly and had our best interests at heart. We had previously tried to sell our house with a different estate agent and it fell through twice. This time, the process was much less stressful (as can be with selling and buying houses!) and the house was priced right, marketed appropriately and sold to buyers, who were kept well informed. Communication was great and we didn't have to keep chasing. Amanda and Rebekah in particular were especially fantastic during the process and always kept us reassured. They chased things up, kept us in the loop and we felt they genuinely cared about our sale (not just a statistic). A brilliant local firm and one I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to others.

FacebookI can't say thankyou enough to the wonderful team at Stepping Stones for their work! I have now used Stepping Stones twice; the first time they represented the house I bought in Glossop in 2017, and the second time, I commissioned them to sell the house for me for a move in 2020/21. They have been absolutely brilliant both times; professional, organised, excellent at keeping in contact, and a really friendly service. They also got me an excellent sale on my house; an older, more established estate agents' in Glossop valued my house at £10,000 less than Stepping Stones, and I'm so pleased I went with Stepping Stones (whose valuation was a clear fit with the sale prices of similar houses in the area), because otherwise I would not have afforded my new house. They did a great job in marketing (which again, the other estate agent wanted to charge an additional small fortune for), their fees were reasonable, and the house sold within 24 hours of appearing on Rightmove! I would use them to sell any property- a fantastic service.

All the way through the tortuous process that selling a house is these days, they were unfailingly pleasant and helpful. It was always a pleasure to call in to see them and get progress reports.
