I wish I could give this letting agency zero stars. They have completely breached our contract and shown a total lack of professionalism. Upon moving in, the house was absolutely filthy, with rubbish in back garden. The state of the property was uninhabitable, clearly, no cleaning had been done. On top of that, broken window and door glass was shattered, posing a serious safety risk.I feel the landlord/letting agency seem more interested in taking your money than providing a habitable living space. They’ve shown nothing but negligence and disregard for their tenants.

We were delighted with Gascoigne Halman’s service, when buying a property through them. They always went over and above. In fact I think our purchase might have fallen through but they kept it all on the rails. We will sell our house with them if we ever move. Dominic is fantastic. He always knew everything about the chain, and did loads to keep it all moving forward.

Very good when dealing with renting out a property. Great, fast communications, friendly service. However, managing the property is below par. I have to chase up things and still waiting for a contractor re heating in the freezing temperatures.

Very disappointed with customer service. Found the staff to be really unhelpful. As a cash buyer had been keen to purchase a property for my daughter and disappointed to learn the property we had secured was taken off the market. Tried to found out why and if there were any other similar properties available through the branch and got absoutley no help from them. Sent a polite message to the manager with honest feedback and requested that he give me a quick call to discuss - 2 weeks later and havent heard back from him. Will now never use Gasgoigne Halman again and recomend other agents who have a little more time and respect for their customers

FacebookThe Didsbury team sold my property to the first viewer so I can't really ask for more. Furthermore, they were on hand throughout the transaction and even provided advice on my purchase even though we were buying through a competitor. I must give special mention to Nathan who was friendly and professional and Andrea who was great towards completion day. Would not hesitate to use again or recommend to others.

the lettings division are very poor, they are very quick at taking your money, but when something goes wrong they take an eterinty to return or respond to emails or telephone calls. Once you have vacated you cant get your secured dposit back, again the communication process and customer service is no existant.

Terrible experience with this company. Had to fight for my deposit which they made unnecessarily difficult. They supported a landlord who said the property was uninhabitable when the independent check out report confirmed as 'good'. 6 months to get deposit back from TDS who awarded us £2,500 of the deposit and the landlord £100 after he tried to claim for £4500! Would never use this company again, avoid!

GoogleMy experience with Gascoigne Halman was almost perfect, and no doubt due to the staff they employ. The landlord of my previous apartment was attempting to bully me into signing and back-dating a barely legal contract by refusing to give Gascoigne Halman a reference for me until I signed it. Regan at Gascoigne Halman advised me all throughout the situation and was incredibly helpful in getting a reference from the agents that I initially starting my tenancy through. Regan really went the extra mile for my girlfriend and I and we could not be more grateful.

GoogleThe Glossop branch will ignore your communication once they have you sign a tenancy agreement. Make sure when you move in you note every tiny fault because they will do a checkout report with extra faults from the check in report. My bins on moving in were full of metal yet they commented on a piece of small cardboard stuck to the bottom of one. I had no electricity for 4 days moving in. They didn't care. Awful and ignorant.

GoogleThe team in the Glossop site were great, they really looked after me during a turbulent process with the sale of my house. Chloe especially couldn't have done any more for us to support and also Karen was a pleasure to deal with.

Whilst waiting (a long and difficult time) for the sale of my house to progress through a different estate agents, Gascoigne Halman were extremely professional, supportive and sympathetic throughout the selling/purchasing process. Trustpilot0 communication, AVOID
Informed us that the property we were moving out of had been re-let. We then rushed to clear and deep clean the property. Rang several times on the day with no answer to then be told any day before Thursday would be ok. We were then informed by another call 10 minutes later that the property had infact not been re-let. Severe lack of communication therefore making us pay another month rent & bills.
