Jack and Ross have provided consistently excellent service from their initial meeting with us. We have relocated overseas and, as landlords, reliability, efficiency and great customer service (both for us and our tenants) is crucial. Their service is streamlined and very effective - from their pro-active marketing to dealing with an interested party pulling out at the last minute, to finding the most suitable tenants, to carrying extensive background checks and dealing with all the paperwork seamlessly. 4 months into the tenancy, their property management service is also excellent and gives us peace of mind. I recently purchased for buy-to-let a property in Merchant City, Glasgow, marketed by Yates Hellier. On viewing the property, Mr.Yates, a courteous professional with in-depth knowledge of the local property market, readily answered all my questions to my satisfaction. As I was new to the Glasgow property market, I checked out various possible letting agents including major ones, but for different reasons found them all unsatisfactory. It then dawned on me I could use Yates Hellier as my letting agent, so discussed matters in detail with Mr.Hellier, Mr.Yates’s partner, who is in charge of the letting side of the business. He was meticulous and thorough in answering all my questions, so everything readily became clear. Accordingly, I decided to use them as my letting agent. When preparing the property for letting, I received very useful advice. Yates Hellier successfully secured a tenant for my property surprisingly quickly. Other members of staff were also highly efficient in dealing with various matters. In liaising with Yates Hellier, I have always experienced the benefits of the ‘personal touch’ which can be only provided by a ‘Boutique’ agent such as Yates Hellier. I can unreservedly commend them as a trustworthy, efficient and ‘hands-on’ property agent in Glasgow.

This was the first time I used Yates Hellier, from the beginning they stood out for several reasons but primarily my decision was down to the personal contact the salesman, not an assigned viewing agent, was proposing to have with my potential buyers. I could list many reasons for my recommendations but in short, they acted swiftly, achieved a price higher than I had hoped for and allowed me to step back and relax knowing that they had full control of every aspect of the sale. I had tenants whilst the sale was in progress and Yates Hellier conducted themselves with the utmost professionalism, clearly and promptly communicating feedback and instruction as well as showing understanding and empathy for all parties involved.
