I sold my property twice with this agency and both times I had a pleasant experience, which is why I went back to them the second time. Jonathan is always very professional and dedicated. Whenever I have a question, he always responds to me in a timely manner, which makes me feel at ease. He also gives me a lot of very practical suggestions on what to do. Their prices are fair and appropriate, but they are very efficient. I highly recommend them with 5 stars.

I purchased a property from Westgate.The solicitors at Westgate, mainly Stephen, were very pleasant to communicate with throughout the process. Made purchasing my flat, in the face of issues caused by a third party, much less stressful. Also went out of their way to get my keys to me when work commitments meant I was unable to drop by during regular opening hours. From my communications/experience I would highly recommend Westgate

EDIT - To comment on the below reply, I did not even bother applying, even after liking the look of the flat, knowing that this would be the estate agent we would have to deal with and Stephen's rudeness, just read other reviews on this exact same problem you will likely encounter... I recently attended a property viewing arranged by this letting agency, and I have to say it was one of the most disappointing experiences I’ve ever had. The representative, Stephen, was incredibly rude to everyone in attendance. He showed no respect to all 10-20 potential tenants and acted as if he didn’t want to be there at all. I’ve never seen anything like it at a viewing - basic questions were met with dismissive answers, and the whole atmosphere felt uncomfortable, even overhearing everyone else say how awful Stephen was instead of liking/disliking the flat. A viewing should be an opportunity to get a proper feel for the property, but Stephen’s attitude made that impossible. I strongly recommend arranging your rental viewings through any other letting agency. This level of service is completely unacceptable, and tenants deserve to be treated with professionalism and courtesy.

Have used WESTGATE and in particular Jonathan twice now, firstly for a relatively smooth sale of my flat and more recently for a more complicated sale involving multiple sales in a chain, a chain that broke further down the line a couple of times. Don’t bother, rudest agent I have dealt with in years. Enquired about a property, I was rudely told there was no chance for me to see it unless I made it to a group viewing on the same day - “If you can’t make it then it’s not happening because it will be gone”. The listing is still up over a week later, I have enquired again, and after being ignored for a couple days, I was told it’s gone. Now that’s interesting because the listing is still displayed as available on most websites, some have even highlighted it (which means, they are desperate to get rid of it), and my male colleague called to enquire about the same property today and miraculously he was told it’s still available. So yeah, if you’re a single female perhaps steer away from these guys. Rotten service, incredibly unprofessional.

Westgate were superb from start to finish with the sale of our house. Right from the initial valuation Jonathan was straight-talking and straightforward. He explained the process fully and clearly, and also offered a very competitive package. He was unfailing helpful (despite some pretty daft questions from us!) and provided solid advice right up until completion date. The service we received was highly professional, and indeed Jonathan's valuation was bang on, but it came without exaggeration and some of the over-promising so common in the estate agency sector. I really couldn't recommend Westgate enough.
