My brother in law and i had to go to see Samera Ali at Lindseys to consult about my late husband estate. We found them very helpful and explain how things would proceed and the time scale. Nothing was any problem and would answer any questions you might be unsure about. First class service from Samera and the people involved.

I was involved in a car accident nearly 2 years ago, which I was not at fault for. Lyndsays solicitors were instructed through my insurance to represent my side and Jamie McGill was my case handler, he was very professional, patient and understanding. I never felt that I was being pressured, ignored or misdirected in any of the proceedings.

If I could give zero I would this guy let me get disqualified from driving after I’d already been done for the same driving offence he failed to mention to the court I’d had my licence revoked for the exact same offence basically double jeopardy rule and I’m now trying to get it all sorted out not a good thing about them the receptionist is rude and abrupt too

Feb 2024.Along the lines of similar reviews. Poor communication. General feeling they’re not actually doing anything to earn the money. Unable to easily contact the person who is dealing with our transactions. Mother’s estate, the easiest to wrap up still waiting after many months. Solictors letter to a company who had incorrect information on us, cost an arm and a leg. I have used Shield and Kyd since 1993 before they merged into Lindsay’s and they were great. Once our current transaction is completed, We will not be using Lindsays for anything.Update. August 2024. Still waiting for completion of mothers estate. This has been nearly a year. Problems…. ineptitude, people forgetting to do things and process paperwork, maternity leave. Handovers not completed properly. Holidays. Lost track of who is now dealing with this transaction. An absolute nightmare.

Absolutely horrendous experience with this lot if I could give no stars I would, was quoted between £1000 and £1500 for a simple divorce got the impression the first lawyer (Alison mckee) couldn't be arsed I paid the £1500 that I was quoted and she switched it to her graduate (Claire brown) then at the end of it I was hit with another invoice for £2736 so they basically want me to pay for the same thing twice, they are con artists and like the other reviews on here seems to be a pattern they invent bills out of nowhere, the lawyer couldn't be bothered passed it to a intern and cracked up my bill while she overlooked my case from time to time, absolutely shocking company, I refuse to pay and I'm now having to goto court over this

Outstanding service. When we needed to speak with our Solicitor Lindsay Carr the communication was very easy. Lindsay always called back if we left a message on her voicemail within the hour. Clear communication via email in both selling our existing house and purchasing our new one. Just outstanding customer service.

GoogleRead papers from the SLCC shared online regarding a complaint against Lauren McGhie - one of their private client team. The solicitor made a number of mistakes in the Confirmation. The solicitor didn't even check if the name on the title deeds matched those of the deceased. This delayed the sale of the property by a number of weeks. Worse still, the solicitor didn't even inform the clients of her mistakes. Instead, she went off on holiday and left it to the conveyancing firm to inform the client. Nor did they bother to order a copy of the correct deeds before going on holiday. Lacking honesty, lacking integrity, and lacking any of the competencies necessary to do the job. Definitely one to avoid. A disgrace to the legal profession

GoogleI used Lindsay’s solicitors for help when I was in car crash that was not my fault. I worked mainly with Pauline who was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. So empathetic and really fighting my corner every step of the way. They made this process so painless and easy for me. They catered to any of my needs or adjustments I had and were amazing at breaking down the legal jargon. I hope I am never in the same position again but if I am I’ll be using them
