We previously used Allen and Harris to market our property and had a terrible experience. Today, we arranged to view a property marketed by them. I had reminder text messages confirming the viewing and when I arrived the owner said he accepted an offer 4 days ago and he was told Allen and Harris would inform anyone who had arranged to view - which they did not. Total waste of time and confirms my views.

GoogleOur mortgage broker Lisa was amazing with helping us purchase our dream home. As first time buyers, we were clueless about all the steps that comes with buying a home so decided that going to Allen and Harris for mortgage advice would be a good place to start. After our first appointment, it was clear to see that we were in good hands with Lisa. GoogleAK came highly recommended for mortgage advice and from the first meeting it was clear why. His knowledge of all parts of the property business will make the process easier if you choose to use him and his contacts across the business helped to speed things up. He made everything very clear and didn't mind explaining in layman's terms whenever we weren't sure. Creating a whatsapp group so we could reach out easily was a nice touch and he even took the time to answer us during his personal time. Overall a very smooth experiance. You wont be disappointed!

We were very nervous about the whole process but the knowledge and expertise demonstrated by AK really made the process seamless! No question was too silly, he was always at the other end of the phone and was able to find us a mortgage deal that was best for us and our family! We used Allan and Harris’ mortgage advisor service. The lovely Alanna Docherty helped us with honestly everything for buying our new house. She was amazing we could not fault her. She really went above and beyond and as for many people, all the things that come with buying the house can be very confusing but Alana explained everything so well and just made the whole process stress free to be honest. She always answered any messages or query’s quick and was always so friendly and polite. Her knowledge is great as well. We are so happy with the service provided and cannot recommend Alana enough. If you are looking for a mortgage advisor she is the one, we will be using her again for future housing things. Thanks so so much again Alana 😊

GoogleI met this vibrant and gold hearted individual when my family was desperately in need of a house to rent. We walked up to Allen & Harris Estate Agent, Albany office where myself and wife spoke to one of the great staffs of the agency in person of Harry even though we were woefully disappointed in one of the staffs ways of approach in another branch of the same organizations but Mr Harry, displayed a high sense of responsibility by putting the interest of his employer's first. Meeting him was like a student to his or her lecturer. He calmed us down by ensuring that he will in his official and legally approved means getting us a house and he did through her office. At this juncture, I recommend Allen & Harris to anyone willing to secure a property to buy or rent to visit the Albany and ask for this energetic man who is also committed in serving his organization. GoogleI would like to mention how absolutely amazing the service was and the advice and help we received from Apurve Kaushik was outstanding. In a difficult time trying to buy our first home, AK was always available to answer any questions and worries we had, no matter how big or small putting our mind at ease, out of working hours and even out of the country, AK still replied to messages within minutes and offered his expertise advice and kept us on the right track. From house searching to mortgage approved, everything in between and even after our move in date, AK was still available. Absolutely could not recommend this man enough, made everything so simple and easy in the most uncertain times. Thanks AK!!!

GoogleI have recently sold my flat using Allen and Harris Bishopbriggs and thanks to their professionalism, knowledge and hard work my flat sold within one week! Being a first time seller I was unsure of the process however Allen and Harris made a daunting experience an easy one for me. I would like to thank Ross Picken (Branch Manager) in particular for all his help and guidance throughout the process. Nothing was too much trouble for Ross who provided a first class service giving useful advice and keeping me informed each step of the way. His knowledge of the estate agency world is clear and he is a credit to Allen and Harris. I would not hesitate to recommend Allen and Harris Bishopbriggs to anyone thinking of buying or selling a property in the surrounding area. Once again guys thank you for a fantastic service.

They assured me it was a good tenant. When I received the referencing it turned out she wasn't earning enough to pay the rent, had lied about her job and salary, had seven addresses in eight years. I only learned this three days before she was supposed to move in. I stopped the deal and decided to sell. Allen and Harris still want their fee. The demand is £300 more than on the contract. Total incompetence.
