The best estate agents - highly recommend to anyone looking to rent! We have rented through Belle Vue estates for nearly 2 and a half years, and it has by far been the best estate agents we have been with. Clare is nothing short of exceptional! It’s not very often that you get someone as dedicated and fair, to both the tenant and landlord. We are so grateful we had the pleasure of Clare as our property manager and we would not hesitate to rent through Belle Vue estates again. Thank you ☺️

As a Landlord who is based down south, I have been working with Belle Vue Estates to help maintain my property in Birtley and find tenants since 2020. I have a lovely working relationship with Claire, who is in charge of the rental section. I have found her to be well informed, courteous, polite (as are all the staff at the agency) and a problem solver always willing to go the extra mile. Importantly, if I need something but Claire is not available she always gets back to me whether by phone call or email. I have to trust her to find good tenants for me and to date she has not disappointed. I have nothing but praise for the Agency and would recommend them.

I now avoid properties up for sale with Belle Vue at all cost! I will never use them again and strongly advise anyone looking to buy or sell with them think twice. Some of thier staff are pleasant on the phone and responsive, Bethany and Sonja specifically were nice to deal with, however, the wider team are incompetent, rude and very unprofessional. I was buying a property through this estate agent, in order to get a viewing initially I spoke to the owner myself when I saw her in her garden one day as I'd had no response back from my email or initial call. We viewed the property, negotiated and moved forward. As we progressed we discovered a huge amount of work needed to be carried out on the property through surveys etc. Which is normal. Our bank went back and forth with us regarding the amount they're willing to lend on the property following the survey. Wed renegotiated, had agreement from the bank and were in a position to exchange contracts only to recieve a call asking for more money for the property. I was furious and the estate agent first of all wouldn't listen and second of all insisted I was wrong (despite me paying almost £5,000 in additional advice, surveys etc. And spending hours on the phone) I'd spent weeks doing what I could to follow through with this sale only for the estate agent to re-market and sell to someone else or in the world of selling houses 'Gazumped' us, legally fine to do morally frowned upon. We have now lost £5,000 and have tenants in our current property making us technically homeless. The other parties we're working with are also disappointed in the service they recieved and one of our contacts called them unprofessional and hard to deal with. As an estate agent your objective is to market and sell houses, in order to do this there needs to be a level of customer service and professionalism. Stuart specifically is by far the worst client facing employee I've ever come into contact with. Everyone involved in our house sale has the same comment and his constant tittle tattle back and forth and lack of empathy and emotional intelligence makes him incredibly difficult to deal with. We are so disappointed with this company and will never use them again!
