FacebookDDM helped us to purchase our first home. Monique was extremely helpful at the beginning of the process explaining things and giving updates regularly. We then had Mike take over towards the end of the process due to changes with Covid-19. He was also really helpful, he regularly kept in touch giving updates either via phone call or text. Both agents was really professional but also friendly and approachable. They was both just really helpful through the process and we cannot thank them enough for all their help!

FacebookCould not have asked for anything more from DDM! They knew we'd found our dream home to buy so came round within 24 hours to get ours on the market. We had viewings within a day and had multiple offers by the end of the first week! great communication from all of them, big thank you to Kiah, Monique and Claire for keeping me sane during sales progression! Then lockdown happened...Claire was brilliant, still kept us updated and made sure we could move, safely and keeping to the applicable rules so the chain didnt collapse. thank you all very much sending virtual chocolates flowers and prosecco!xx

Facebookmy self and my husband have just purchased a house threw DDM. Micheal was our first port of call and he has been amazing. We have had some issues along the way and Micheal has been at the end of the phone with help reassurance and advice. Would highly recommend DDM to anyone. We prodomintly dealt with Micheal but everyone in the office where always helpful and friendly and Doug showed us round the property more then once and he gave good advice nothing was too much trouble and knew what he was talking about. FacebookAvoid at all costs to rent from these people! I have complained numerous times regarding a property that we still rent from the company (we can't get out of our contract even though the landlord has agreed we could) we have now vacated due to being totally unsafe and too cold to live in! Due to me expecting a baby we had no choice but to find elsewhere to live. (Faulty electrics causing plug sockets to set alight and many more issues as reported to the office numerous times).... finally an engineer was arranged to visit but never turned up, when I went into the office a lady I spoke to called the engineer who admitted they didn't have time to attend but didn't call to re arrange, when calling DDM back a few days later I was then made out to be a liar being told by a very rude lady that they had attended and left a card! When handing the notice in we were told they would advertise the property as we can't end our contract until another tenant is found which we were totally fine with as we had signed the 6 month contract. They have now advertised the property wanting more rent when the property is not even safe and the problems have not been dealt with! There has been one viewing which I had to deal with and the problems were picked up immediately by the viewers! The staff at scunthorpe are rude and argumentative when u call they tell you they will call you back and never do I spend most of my time chasing them as they say they will call back and never do.Do not rent from this company. They are an absolute joke!

GoogleWas told sale was agreed. I cancelled other viewings. Was hassled into paying solicitors fees to get ball rolling. As soon as I did sale fell through as a higher offer Was received so wasted money . If they hadn't hassled I wouldn't have paid solicitors fees so quick and not lost money so won't go near again now

While I completely agree it’s frustrating when things like this happen, I want to reassure you that we acted properly and in line with our obligations. You’re right in noting that auction can sometimes provide a more secure route to purchase, particularly when looking to avoid similar issues in the future. However, it’s important to be aware that the auction process often requires a financial commitment prior to the exchange of contracts and may not be suitable in all cases. With private treaty sales in England, unfortunately, the transaction is not legally binding until contracts are exchanged. That’s why we requested that you instruct a solicitor, it enables us to issue the memorandum of sale and initiate the legal process. Without this step, the purchase cannot progress towards a binding agreement. I completely understand that your comments came from a place of disappointment. I hope, in time, you’ll see that DDM Residential acted with professionalism throughout. Should a suitable property become available, we’d be very pleased to support you with your next purchase. FacebookI have rented my property with DDM Lettings for the last couple of years and always find the staff helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We have found that issues raised by the tenants are dealt with promptly by the team and we are kept informed of any issues. Rent is paid regularly and statements emailed. I would have no hesitation in recommending DDM Lettings to manage your property as being a professional and reliable lettings agent.
