I've had more than a 2 year association with Peter and his team. During this time they have moved mountains to sell my house despite a few setbacks along the way. Peter developed a sound strategy with the marketing and once the property sold he took care of clearing the property, storing and delivering our possessions. All of this he did with professionalism, care and understanding. Peter and his team show how the job should be done. So pleased now to be in our new home with our possessions and the next chapter of our lives underway. I cannot recommend Moving Places highly enough! Pete and his team were absolutely incredible and made our house move so much easier. They were perfectly on time, exceptionally polite, and took real care of our belongings from start to finish. A complete game-changer for us was the option to complete the move over two days for the exact same cost. This allowed us to give our rental property a thorough clean on the first day, meaning we could completely focus on moving into our new place the next day. Pete is a lovely guy who clearly does a lot for the community, and it shows in how he runs his business. His staff were friendly, incredibly hard-working, and just got the job done. They even dismantled our furniture to make it easier to transport and rebuilt it at the other end. Nothing was damaged, everything was accounted for, and to top it all off, their price was nearly £500 cheaper than any other quote we received. If you are looking for a reliable, professional, and affordable team for your next move, look no further!

Peter and his team were fantastic. They moved all the furniture from Walton to Wellington, taking care of everything that needed to be transported without me needing to be there. At the destination, they placed everything in the correct rooms, again without requiring my presence. Peter also handled the sale of the house and achieved a successful sale within just a couple of weeks, which exceeded my expectations. From marketing the property to managing viewings and negotiations, he made the entire process straightforward and stress-free. His knowledge of the local market and proactive approach were evident throughout, and he kept me updated every step of the way. Once the sale was agreed, Peter continued to provide invaluable support by arranging the clearance and removal of the remaining contents before the buyers moved in. This was a huge help and ensured everything was completed smoothly and on time. The service was exceptional from start to finish. Peter kept me fully informed throughout and made what could have been a very difficult and stressful process so much easier. Moving Places made moving an absolute dream! We were so impressed with Peter and his team. His experience and expertise and wonderfulness is exceptional. Peter suggested pre-loading the afternoon before and we were so pleased because our buyer and their removal truck arrived at 10am on completion morning. The fact there were only last bits meant it wasn't so stressful. It took a while for the completion funds to go through and Peter suggested we go to their office to have a coffee and use the loo. Jade and Danny at the office were so chatty and lovely it took all of the stress out of the waiting. I honestly can't recommend them enough. Moving is meant to be stressful - but not with Peter and his team!

Nothing is too much trouble for them, even though we ended up buying a property through another agent Peter was always on the end of the phone with helpful advice, then when we were finally ready to move Peter and his team Shane and Ashley moved us from Romford to Walton on the Naze and even brought us too so we didn't have to get the train. Absolutely amazing service from Peter and the team. We had a nightmare chain that went on for 9 months. Peter was so patient and understanding every time I had to let him down with a moving date. He even took delivery of our huge sofa and kept it in his warehouse for 2 months with no charge !!!! Couldn’t be more grateful. Ashley and Shane who moved us were brilliant, nicest guys and did not stop all day! Helped us with every little thing and nothing was too much hassle for them. Brilliant service right from the very first moment when I spoke to Peter on the phone and felt my whole body relax. For perspective, The first (local, well established) removal firm I contacted was SO much more expensive, the man n van service I was also quoted for (and became too stressful with moving dates changing) would have turned out about same price with all the additional waiting etc so I really feel I got value for money. I was offered a preload the day before but went with 8am on the day. The guys were really friendly and helpful and listened, they had special sleeve for mattress and TV and even put my bed together the other end! Can’t recommend enough, moving is stressful and this just really made things much simpler, brilliant service.
