GOING THE EXTRA MILE OR SO

M,W & G provided superb support and local assistance during a long and frustrating sale of a residential property that was adversely affected by COVID-19 difficulties, allied to our being over 400 miles away, and other buyers' & vendors' agents being less than candid about the status of their dealings 'down the chain'. Throughout this taxing process, Sarah, Robin and Richard provided excellent support by pro-actively chasing the progress of the chains' developments - frequently on a daily basis and sometimes hourly in the latter stages. One can see why some Estate Agents generate adverse publicity - however, M, W & G is clearly NOT in that league; in our experience the Team we had were simply outstanding and very much ‘on our side’ in progressing this protracted process - that was not of our or their making - to an eventual successful conclusion.

The best estate agents I’ve ever dealt with!

I have always been a tenant and can honestly say this is the best experience I’ve ever had with an estate agent. From start to finish Amy, Nathan and Julie have been extremely helpful and professional. Any time I called they are available and reply to my emails almost instantly! Just what you need with an estate agent! Any issues I’ve had once I moved into the property have been resolved the same day and I can not rate these guys highly enough, if I could give 10 stars I would :)

Selling a property is not easy and you need someone you can trust who has a knowledge of the local area and can be contacted easily either by telephone or calling into the office. I was a tenant for 4 years in a property in St Austell. I can't thank May Whetter & Grose lettings team for their kindness and professional attitude towards me. I have been through a lot of personal problems with my family in Wales with my brother and father dying within one year of each other, also my mum with breast cancer. The team were lovely to me when I called in at the office for one reason or another. Only twice did I have to ask for something to do with the flat and both times it was dealt with within 2 days. DIY isn't for me atall, so I asked the team to help, and within a few days my request was sorted. I would like to say that if your thinking of letting a property please go to May Whetter & Grose letting team. I would like to thank each one of the team for their help and kindness shown towards me. Professional company - Sold my house in 5 days

When I was looking for an estate agent to sell my first home, May Whetter & Grose stood out to me by a mile as a respected, professional local company. I had previously noticed their positive online presence and the quality of the properties on their portfolio, so I was keen to include my house amongst these. Tony Grose was friendly and helpful when valuing my house and I was very happy when it sold for full asking price within 5 days of being listed. The whole process was smooth, with staff on hand whenever I needed assistance or advice with anything. Special thanks goes to Sarah also, who was very helpful on completion day. Two employees of May, whether & Grose (sorry I can’t remember their names) came to our house to carry out a test for ‘mundic block’. We were extremely apprehensive regarding damage to the decorations of our home. Our worries were completely unfounded as the men were not only friendly and competent but also extremely tidy. Efficient Service.

I have been managing a house sale long distance and needed to have a Mundic test, at very short notice, to speed up my sale. I was advised by my estate agent in Launceston to work with May Whetter & Grose and the service that we received was efficient and speedy. The report results were e-mailed to me quicker than I had been advised and the hard copy of the report arrived soon after. I can not recommend May Whetter & Grose's services highly enough.

Sarah!

This was a very inexpensive property, but one that was very important to us. It was a long haul, made so much easier by Sarah, a member of staff, who went above and beyond the call of duty. Even after we had got our keys, and arrived on a friday night in the pouring rain and found we had no gas or hot water, she sourced a plumber and saved the day. She was amazing, 100% recommended as a member of May Whetter and Grose staff.

We tried to view a particular house twice but may whetter told us that viewing was unavailable.Long story, but we finally viewed on the third attempt and offered full asking price there and then.That cost us 8 weeks of temp accommodation, furniture storage and 3 grand over the asking price.Vendor told us they saw no reason at all that we couldn't view the first time. Was it may whetter fault?Dont know, but these scenarios do stick.

Mundic Test

Needed a Mundic test done for a house we are purchasing in Cornwall, was so easy to deal with called them up to discuss what I required and with the details of the property and the vendor + Estate agents, they keep you informed by email as when the test was booked in then when completed. You then receive a test report by email and a hard copy by post within the said time, They wasn't the cheapest test but you get exactly what is promised. Highly recommend, Daren & Corrina
